Can someone enlighten me why the Chiefs picked their ABs for this game? I get that you don't want four losses in a row but surely this is a game you just give up on after last week? Hurricanes (H), Bulls (A) and Jaguares (A) are all winnable. Then you have the bye and Blues and Lions at home. You could easily win 4 of those 5 with your top team playing.

I’ll sound more flippant than I intend; but losing this by 100+ would have derailed the season beyond repair. They aren’t doing it as they speak, but I think the coaches had to give the team the best chance of putting in a performance to hold their heads higher.

Which mans little when Aliamalo makes a break and passes it to the tea lady.

That Alaimalo break and pass was vintage late period Blues rugby.

Shit - I thought the Chiefs at $4.90 to win was good value.

I'm starting to think I should have done a bit more research before investing ten bucks in an insurance bet! 🙂

Fucking this. With the bulldozer from Wellington on the bench. Loving our midfield options right now.

I get the confidence angle but confidence must be shot if you lose by 50 with the best player in the world.

I just hope SBW doesn't have something in his contract about RWC. Goodhues hands well and truly make up for his absence.

Does there need to be some sort of Crusaders Law, like you can only have so many All Blacks and you must donate a few of your age group players to other teams?

You've got to admire the Chiefs in terms of consistency: whatever the worst possible option is, they seem to take it every time.

It says a lot if an age group player would stay at the Crusaders and compete for a position than go to other teams.
