personally...i think hes just doing it for a bit of attention and then he's doubled down with some god stuff when asked
On what basis do you make that claim?

@antipodean kneeling is not a new thing, previously hes been very open about how his religion relates to things going on in the world and i havent seen any previous comments about he would never kneel for that reason. i dont follow his socials so i could be wrong,
the kneeling was planned from what i understand and i think most people would have anticipated it would be noticed and so he could have explained before hand...to do after the fact and only after being asked about it seems a little attention grabbing

So you don't know, which brings me back to the point; how is it you feel you can apply a negative inference?

How do you know he didn't explain it to his teammates? Or didn't feel it warranted an explanation to people he's never met?

im not going to get into an argument with you again
I havent seen anyone in the articles ive read report he has been clear about this before, sorry if this doesnt reach your lofty criteria for an opinion
I never said anything about explaining to his team mates, but its my opinion its common sense given his history and just the fact he is a public figure and the game was televised that the viewing public would notice it and this is my mind would have been enough reason to front foot if if trying to avoid controversy

White guy attacks brown guy for not kneeling to show solidarity with... brown people. Outstanding.

Certainly, I was just interested in why. Had @Kiwiwomble said he "didn't like the god bothering gay hating twat", I'd have understood. I just can't stand Fitzsimons more than Folau.

@antipodean why quote me with that? i didnt say that

I apologise if you feel I was putting word in your mouth. It was merely an example.
-
@antipodean you use quote marks.....so very much putting words in my mouth, my only comment was this particular action came across to me as attention seeking, barely mentioned his previous comments

No, double quotes:

He’s not attributing the quote to you, such posting an extreme example.

Everyone is a bit sensitive today!
Does anyone with knowledge of the good book know if it says anywhere that you can't kneel for any other reason than worshipping? I haven't heard it before. And I'm pretty sure a shit load of those NFL players would be Christian

Keep in mind that Folau's "religion" is basically making it up as they go along.
Provided they can't be taxed, they can believe whatever they want.
-
I can’t help but feel @antipodean is Baron 2.0
Folau is an attention seeking twat. I doubt anything he does is without thought to draw attention to himself and his righteous outdated beliefs (( unless you lived during the Bronze Age, then it would be relevant)
-
@antipodean said in The Folau Factor:
I usually agree with Peter Fitz, but he's clearly let his judgement of Folau get in front of the stance that he's taken here.
But like anybody in a democratic nation, he has the right to choose which movements he's supports and which ones he doesn't as well. Everybody who isn't a woke moron (which sadly seems to be less every day) is aware that there are two sides to the BLM movement.
To use their own analogy, Black Lives Matter means as much as Black Lives Matter as Defund The Police means Defund The Police.
I honestly wouldn't have a clue what it means anymore. It seems basic English is not part of the movement.
