Should be easy if I assume we have a record of who has had their shots
assume it is a nationwide things, but I have the 'My Health' App and it shows my 1st jab on there, am sure it'd be easy enough for the app to generate a digital certificate or soemthing confirming you are fully vaccinated, especially as they should have pretty good security features for peoples health records?
I could see them rushing out the vax with no single list of who has had them. A national database would be a great idea. But I don't think we even have a national medical database so it is a Labour style idea without a plan of execution

So after three hours of queuing I have reached car par! 🙃
I underestimated numbers in car park. Probably 60 cars still. But three queues. So 20 in front of me. Most cars have at least 2 occupants. Plenty 4. Hope mine is the fastest lane
Good news is we are going to see massive testing numbers so will have a pretty good idea of spread of outbreak

Heard it only opened at 830am? Hopefully you are through soon.
Suggest checking local medical centres first via phone before going to one of these drive up places. Mum just rang the local and shes in for 10.15am today.

You are sitting there in an airconditioned S5 listening to music and ferning. Stop the whingeing.
Some poor bastard is there in a 1980s Datsun 180b with the windows down breathing in the fumes, with a broken cassette deck, a phone that doesn't have internet access and a girlfriend that won't shut up complaining about having a swab stuck up her nose.Feel better?

@snowy oh there will always be issues, and I expect if there is a certification requirement, that will be a target, but for the most part they must be reasonably secure.
Nope, security is hard and expensive.

Got thru to healthline. There are 579 in front of you. Hung up
That's information that you really didn't want.
"Yes Mr Meat, we'll get to you as soon as possible" might have been better.
Anyway we will be here with with helpful comments and tips for you to pass the time.

Not trying to do a trans-tasman dick waving. Genuinely interested in speeds of the un-vaxed nations to see if we are still too complacent. So, I look at Aus as well on that page each time I look at NZ.
FT's version of graph also slightly showing that trend.

The nurse at the vaccination place the other day said that they send official notice to your normal GP, and it is stored in your patient records. I guess they will then somehow extract that when a national database or vaccine passport becomes a thing. I imagine forgeries of that sort of stuff will become commonplace.

@aucklandwarlord as above, I had mine at a pop-up type place, but the record was in my health record the following day when I checked.
