@Crucial Cheers, never heard of that before. I figured it was a fascist joke and the only thing i could think of were maybe the trains heading to the concentration camps but that would surely be a waaaay too far.
Its funny back when I thought MSM wasn't so biased I remember when Bannon was appointed and the articles about white supremacy and nazism were coming out. I was appalled (and maybe a little drunk) and thought right, now I'm going to find a youtube clip video of Bannon which removes all shadow of a doubt on how incredibly racist this guy is and how Trump really is the next Hitler. And once I had that clip I would share it on facebook illustrating why we should all be so worried!
...of course after much desperate searching there were no clips, I could only find baseless accusations from MSM and on balance found more evidence countering these claims than supporting them. So then I had to start rethinking a few things.

Your one line (FAKE NEWS) comment is spin itself-deceptive, incomplete.
This was a common tactic of Obama. However, he went much further and showed clear bias to the liberal organisations:
It was a closed door meeting off camera gaggle in Sean Spicer's office.I suppose the big difference is one is the President, the other is the Press Secretary.
Had the media got all pissy about a few outlets being invited to a chat with Trump, I'd get it, but this is the Press Secretary on what is the daily briefing?

the big difference there is that Trump is much more open and honest than Obama, the secretive manipulative socialist. Trump wouldn't dream of manipulating the press like Obama actively schemed and did. In his press conference last week, Trump went much longer with more questions than Obama ever did.
To see how open this administration is, just read the leaks.

That sounds like rank assertion. And no, I'm not defending Obama's record.

It is a statement based on observation. It wouldn't be hard to list a number of things that Obama did or tried to do secretively or in a deliberately hushed up manner. But, cricket's on and I couldn't give a toss about Hussein any more!
Let's wait 2 years before we can accurately assess its veracity.

But maybe it reflects a few white house or government staffers who can't believe what the fuck they're seeing/hearing
Or maybe biased Obama holdovers in the intelligence community are being treasonous.

There are many reasons why I support Trump so much. He is a very good man and will improve countless lives in a real way. Here is one of the things he has facilitated:
Since President Donald Trump has been sworn in on Jan. 20, authorities have arrested an unprecedented number of sexual predators involved in child sex trafficking rings in the United States. This should be one of the biggest stories in the national news. Instead, the mainstream media has barely, if at all, covered any of these mass pedophile arrests. This begs the question – why?
As a strong advocate for sex crime victims, I’ve been closely following the pedophile arrests since Trump took office. There have been a staggering 1,500-plus arrests in one short month; compare that to less than 400 sex trafficking-related arrests in 2014 according to the FBI. It’s been clear to me for awhile that Trump would make human trafficking a top priority. On October 8, 2012, Trump tweeted:
"Got to do something about these missing children grabbed by the perverts. Too many incidents – fast trial, death penalty."
Liberals should be kept out of power for the next 20 years, then America will be making progress to redress the harm done since Clinton was elected.

@Wairau apart from the alt-right article you link to is there any evidence that this is Trump instigated? Seems to me that operations like this take a long time planning, gaining intelligence, getting to the right targets then the busts come.
If Trump gave them a nudge to push things along, then that's good, but I'd guess the work was well underway anyway. -
Several factors.
-General disgust amongst law community
-FBI is now released to make arrests, under Obama they were constrained.
-Trump has long abhorred this topic@Crucial said in US Politics:

You can't stop the labels-alt right? well, for me, CNN et al is alt-left socialist shit, just rubbish reporting and propaganda, only dumb people would listen to MSM.

https://www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/comments/5ubed7/its_happening_updated_list_of_all_human/A reddit thread as evidence? Seriously? A conspiracy theory one as well.
Any chance of also backing up the claim that the FBI were constrained under Obama?
Labels? FFS this site has for years had continual labelling of anything left wing as 'Leftard'. That's the first time I have ever used 'alt right' and there is a complaint?
I don't give a shit what CNN say and do, I check information before I believe it and check numerous sources.

about the FBI and Justice Department (I also meant to mention them in the same sentence, the terrible LL)-you must be joking, right, lol....open your eyes!
this is the first link I noticed in 5 seconds in that Reddit thread that I got from my google link:
https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2016
how is this a conspiracy thread>? seems like more labels from you....To answer your question:
But as National Review’s Jim Geraghty notes, the feds “have enormous resources devoted to counterterrorism,” well beyond the FBI — including thousands of agencies, private groups and military commands.
Yet they all operate under real constraints — including not just proper regard for civil liberties but also orders from a White House that obsessively fears seeming anti-Muslim.
Here’s one notable example: James Brennan, then deputy national security adviser for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, in late 2011 ordered a purge of all federal law-enforcement “training materials that contain cultural or religious content, including information related to Islam or Muslims.”
In other words, the FBI’s political overseers ordered it not to husband expertise on Islamist self-radicalization — and the bureau’s bureaucrats, from Comey on down, complied. The same idiocy rules the entire Obama effort at “countering violent extremism.”

A change due to new Administration:

The reason it is a conspiracy thread is all the Pizzagate, Clinton Foundation, Ghana, Haiti rubbish. May as well add in the lizard people as well. -

I said facilitated, not instigated. Please read carefully.
Then I followed it up with a clear answer:

-General disgust amongst law community
-FBI is now released to make arrests, under Obama they were constrained.
-Trump has long abhorred this topicNowhere did I mention pizzagate or other conspiracy theories. Those are echoes in your own head. You have to be able to parse information, not just blindly label.
I should add for clarity:
Actually, late last year also saw a lot of arrests. What is apparent, regardless of that, is the arrests have peaked over any comparable point in the past, since Trump became president elect, and President. So, my point that he has facilitated and brought this topic into the open, is correct. -

It pointed me to a reddit thread that introduced pizzagate etc and also drew conclusions based on timing rather than fact.
You are still to provide any evidence that Trump facilitated anything or that the FBI were constrained under Obama in this area. -
