All Blacks v England

England were under the pump till the 71st minute, but the ABs should have nailed the coffin long before. There were costly errors when the NZ forwards were destroying their English counterparts : two crooked throws by Taylor and two missed kicks by RM after favorable penalties.

Our mindset is not to kick long. Never did it. Short kicking options in last 10 terrible.
Too many mistakes in first half left door open.
Laulala is a liability. His inability to get into defensive line created room for the try and yellow card. His selection just atrocitious.
Our players can't adjust the game plan based on the game situation. Kick short, if you want. Don't do it when you only have 14 players. Don't do it when you are defending a lead.
We are such a dream to play against. We crumble at the first sign of resistance.
It was time to drive up the middle, keep to touch and burn clock

Really disappointed that we gave it away. BB, take a long hard look at yourself. That comeback started with you.
Haha come on, your boy Mo'unga missed touch twice from penalties, the second one ended up with England camped on our line when we should have been on theirs. You can't single one player out for that, we looked knackered at the end of a long season and England finished very strong.
Our kick options are terrible. Barely kicked for touch when that's what was required
Agreed we have no one who can kick for territory.
We have Jordie Barrett! Not to mention Mounga and Beauden should both be able to do it.

I hate to say this as the man over the years has be fantastic but BB may have to go. He has made way to many errors this year. RM was not brilliant today either. You cannot afford to miss touch finders. We have to keep this mid field though and MT has been great. Even CC was good in this match. When RC "GOAT' was there we would never have drawn a game like that.
I am still in fucking shock. This has left a bad taste in my mouth for sure. I hate when we fuck a game up like that for the last game of the season. England looked average and we looked great for the first 60. Now we just look likes bunch of chokers. !!
Fucking ruined my day !!!

But we don't do it. That is the problem. Surely a tactical failing

@Stargazer The poor pass to Ioane in the 1st half. Another in the 2nd half that led to a England penalty. He did some good things but struggled when he didn't have any space.
A high pass that any centre worth is salt should have taken. Ioane’s game is littered with errors. You combine him and Caleb Clarke and our mistake rate is too high.

Maybe I will rephrase, we have no one who is kicking for territory.

We seem to somehow have lost our basic understanding of how to win a rugby match. Other teams only have to win games once, we have to win them five times over.

That's not true. Jordie has a big kick. He should be used more.

The unpredictable nature of the ref may have played a part in the decision to kick. Then, because we did not have anyone in the backs at the time the decision was made to kick (they were all in or around the ruck) the only option was for TJ to kick.

Error rate between,Ioane , Mounga, Taylor and Clarke is way to high to consistently win games.

It is. The problem is it is all very well to have a game plan. What we cannot ever seem to do is adapt our game plan on the field to what is in front of us. That's why Beauden Barrett will never be a great first-five for me. He just assesses every play based on what is on the field and not the game situation.

Raynal would have blown a penalty in that last minute if we tried to run the clock I'm also certain.
Nothing wrong with kicking. It's just that the type of kick was poor. It should have been a set up for Jordie to kick long.
