Is there any chance of a future "back caps" talent to come in for Wagner for next test or are we stuck with same squad?

Doug Bracewell has been called into the squad.
Despite the lack of love for the name Bracewell on TSF, and the call for some randoms, I think it's the best call at this stage of the season.

I'm okay with Doug. Not so much with the other guy....

@Donsteppa the tension in that replay was immense. Fundamentals- Kane slides his bat, we win the test. Bracewell doesn't, he amost cost us that game but for a miracle.
Sport eh, so good!
I changed my mind several times the first time I saw it being played for the Third Umpire. Was willing Kane's bat to somehow beat the ball!

Though in terms of the replacement of Wags, what's not good for the Black Caps turns out to be good for BSG's club, Cadets. Two Saturdays ago:
Only 4?

Would love to see Kane pass the 8,000 Test runs mark in the next Test.

Shane Bond
simply magnificent, as a bowler, and then as a bowling coach.
Shafted by NZC on the instruction of ICC for playing in the ICL. Injury and politics robbed us of teh chance to see a true talent. Him cleaning up Australia with the fast swinging yorkers lives strongly in my memory
ICC or BCCI?

And not good for Papamoa. Wags talking to Trent by the sightscreen when I turned up. Wish he had been playing... -
Well that’s 2 tests on the trot that your boys have been involved in a squeaky bum ending and come out on top both times. That shows a willingness to play aggressively, to actually go for it rather than to shut up shop and also some real grit to get over the finish line. My only caveat to that would be both times Williamson came good. He could do with some help. However, if I were a Kiwi, I’d be very much enjoying these moments and feeling grateful that KW is a Kiwi.

Current test average of 53.80 after 93 tests. Rather decent.
Fair to say both tests would have been lost without him there as the sheet anchor.
