The Jewel being fat thing was obviously a joke - lets face it, she doesn't play to the skinny la style celebrity look - looks like a proper chick. One who I would much rather be with, than any super skinny model.

However, and this is being 100% honest, the subsequent pictures of skinny/anorexic woman has hit home to me, just how horrible that issue is, and that curmudgeonly fat fucks like me on the internet putting out throwaway stupid lines, is probably something which really doesn't help.

I actually feel quite bad now, and regret posting that joke.

Thank God it was a joke and Jewel is hot as fuck. End of story.

Anorexia is a horrible thing but then you get that fat bitch who sings about the bass and that it's fine to be fat so chicks look at her as some sort of role model despite being a slightly more mobile jabba the Hutt lookalike.

    ( she's not that fat.....but irritating as fuck )

One might consider applying the paper bag over Jewel's head, but calling her fat is absolutely fucking ridiculous. But just for the benefit of that particular poster, here is a picture of his dream lady:

    alt text

Garrrr, fook it. how do you post images again?

    So @MajorRage says she's fat now you're implying she's ugly too ?

Man, are you two faggots or what ?

You horrible homophobe. 20k fine and re-education camp for you.

Tbh she isn't ugly at all but that face doesn't really match that astonishing body. But who am I kidding. On the trillion to one chance that she looked at me twice, I would pound her like a turbo powered jackhammer.

MR: Thought you were serious. But yeah it is a pretty serious issue when women who are fit and healthy can be labelled fat. On the flip side you get these horrendous blobs who scream about body confidence and fatism as if its somehow healthy or brave to be grossly overweight. A large mate of mine has an equally large wife. Both have health issues and are odds on to be diabetics within a decade or so. She has now started a "body confidence" blog in which she posts pictures of herself "embracing" her body. It's farking sick, deluded and dangerous but she is of course enabled by the likes from friends that should know better. Body confidence should be for those normal, healthy girls and women who are intimidated by those surgically enhanced, duck-lipped tarts on Instagram. It should also be for people like my wife who have lost parts of their body and hair to diseases they could do nothing about. I have zero sympathy for anyone who's only affliction is eating too many donuts and spending too much time on the couch.

    I apologise for the digression.

I would also like to add a throat punch for the celebrities who post pics of their bodies after having a baby and be all LOOK AT MEEEE! PING! Back in my skinny jeans already!

Now add on how much easier it is when you have chefs and personal trainers and private surgeons and nannies and housekeepers.

I do agree there is a massive difference between fuckfaces who call women who are tall/big boned/hourglass curved fat just cos they aren't size zilch, and obesity. Obesity is a serious problem with lifelong side effects and is nothing to embrace.

    Stuff

'Attention seeking foreign Muppet vs feral mongrel.....'

Hard to know which one of these two to side with, my inclination is the latter to be honest, having that guy jabbering all sorts of shit in his own language would wind me up as well.

You can bet Dame Susan won't see it that way though.

All of these arguments break down pretty quickly. The world is a completely different place today to what it was in the 70s and 80s. And in 20 years time with growing populations and advances in automation and AI it's going to be completely different again - I'd say the idea of a 9-5 job will be a thing of the past before long, and that the majority of people will be living in large apartment complexes.

Personally I love city living and have little interest in a big section with a large garden that needs constant maintenance. When I buy I will be looking at apartments. The only issue I have there is finding one that has parking, and I've heard the Auckland unitary plan is trying to reduce the amount of parking in the city with the idea that people will use public transport instead. Which is OK when you're working, but on your days off not having a car is a massive pain in the ass if you want to go anywhere outside the city given the public transport system is a bit of a shambles.

I'm hoping driver-less cars will solve that dilemma, whereby owning a car is less important as you'll easily be able to call a driver-less uber-style car to take you wherever you want to go for a reasonable price.

    @taniwharugby

That writer just does low brow click bait editorials

He managed to write half a dozen emotional articles about the sexist culture crisis at the Chiefs. He even threatened to take his support to the Hurricanes. Like anyone gives a shit

    alt text

He even has a sports newsletter called "Honest Norks". Twat.

Just a self important fluffybunny who shouldn't be given any attention

@Duluth He also reported on the Chris Cairns trial and I thought he provided good coverage.

This is an opinion piece and it obviously had the desired effect judging by the number of comments.

Six males living on a bus? BLURG. That woman must have no sense of smell left.

And yes, why the fuck would you keep having kids when you live in a damned bus. Those poor boys. Teen tripping over baby stuff and probably forced to be another caregiver.
