I got about 3 paragraphs in before I poured a coffee over it.
The first bit:

Then there was this and I stopped:

Wool only makes up about %10 of everything going into NZ homes. There are many reasons for this. SDN (solution dyed nylon) has come on in leaps and bounds. Stain resistant, healthier (allergies, etc) easy to clean, lasts longer. I could go on. It isn't "horrid" and it isn't a cheap acrylic alternative to wool. Wool gets carpet beetle, absorbs moisture. I could go on. The only people who buy wool from us now are, yep, farmers.
My point is if you are going to write an opinion piece at least do some research and know what you are talking about. An educated opinion it used to be called. Which is indeed the point of this thread.
I hope you don’t apply the criteria of that last paragraph to the fern.

"Take back the mills!" ??That would involve reading more than the first few paragraphs and, in true Fern style, I'm not doing that as I can see no upside at all.

So I looked at the article and I like how there's no details given other than that she's a woman and her premium has increased. And that the quote at the bottom shows the article is completely stupid:
