I don't go in for this type of thing usually as I prefer to just watch and not think too far ahead but I saw a pretty good summation of why Bran is the Night King....
It was good in the sense that it worked but it was horrible in the sense that they did this type of shit with Lost and it ruined the whole thing.

Was really hoping that Jon would ride the injured Dragon out from under the ice. But instead we get a frosty dragon to set us up for some mint action in eps 7 and 8.
Some of the story arcs are meandering a bit - makes the action more compelling though! Sometimes it feels like they leave things a bit late so everything gets (semi) resolved all at once. Bit of feast or famine.

The Bran theory is interesting but seems very fanboiish.
There is mention of the comment "you won't walk but you will fly" meaning he'll ride a dragon. But if he is the NK then he can not only walk, he is also a champion javelin thrower.
It's a cool theory but nothing more I think.

Not sure how he's supposed to fit into all this though. He died kissing a dead Catlyn in the books.

Fair point. But they're Lannisters and Lannisters are fucked up. This great romance was building from the early days and when it finally happens we find out at the exact same time that they are aunt and nephew. Just wrong.

Why would the notoriously careful lenders of the Iron Bank want to supply Cersei with money now everyone nows that winter is coming with zombie giants and dragons. A wee bit of a risky investment don't you think?
Stupid thing is that they could have easily avoided it by saying that they just took all the Highgarden gold.
This episode was a bit shit. Too rushed. I hate LF but they seriously butchered his character in this season... before actually butchering him.
