I've been reliably informed that mine is "Salmon" and not pink.

wait, you own something in a colour that isn't grey?

By the way, what the fuck has happened to the rugby world where we have the first test of the year against the Boks, our historical enemy, and 3 days out we are discussing wardrobes?

Seriously, the thread is a wind-up team, some posts laughing about how some people would react to said wind up team, some pics of pink jerseys, a gay joke, and 3 posts about clothes.

    @mariner4life

I haven't worn grey since I was at college and that was only cos I had to.

To answer the rest of your post it's because the boks are shitter than anytime I can remember in history. They are gonna get an absolute reaming.

The only thing missing is some poster asking when is the team named....

I don't expect many changes in the ABs lineup. Two crooked throws by Coles doesn't mean he'll be benched. Hansen is rather conservative so he won't rest the incumbents against a team like South Africa. I know they are pretty dire since Coetzee took the reins but they are still a team hard to play against.
There will be two changes IMO : Crockett for Moody and Savea for Cane. The rest will be unchanged.

Good to hear. That gives us plenty more time to talk about the big rugby issues like pink shirts, suitcases, a Dixon sighting, Cullen and 2003.....

Saw that Foster mentioned Moala is back healthy and in the selection mix? Perhaps more likely to play for Auckland on Sunday?

    Good bench option.

i wouldn't be surprised to see Todd start ahead of Savea, as Todd is more of a starter to me. Maybe a few tweaks in the reserves like Pat T making an appearance.

@Bovidae good bait, hopefully someone takes it to liven things up a bit.

We all know how this game will play out. The Boks will come out hard, it will be pretty close at half time, blokes on here will be lambasting a "sub-par" AB performance, around the 55-60 minute mark our bench will start to make an appearance, Golden Balls will do something golden with his balls, and we'll win by 20+

Cant remember ever feeling this confident against a Boks side ,

Its almost getting boring playing Australia and SA ,

We need some better opposition ,

This is what happened with Australian league , they got sick of thrashing us , so they came up with State of Origin

No it's not, they came up with SOO because they were sick of NSW thrashing Qld.

I agree, it is getting boring.

I'd shelve the 3rd Bledisloe, gets too repetitive. If you can't win 2/2 then you can't take the cup from the holder. We had to do it the hard way in 2003.

Home and away in TRC is fine, but no more than 2x games against the same teams year in, year out.

All Blacks defeating the Wallabies is neither boring or unenjoyable. In 1998 my therapist told me that things would turn around. When I threw a brick through his front window in 2002 yelling liar, he still said it would turn around one day, just wait. So since 2003 I have been at peace and long may it continue 🙂
