    Surprised.

Even more surprising is the ranking of Damon Murphy as one of two ARs. Who is judging these guys, Stevie Wonder?

So BOK didn't ref single knockout game. Is he away, or demoted?

Hardly demoted, he's doing the first Lion's test. Makes sense to have an Aus ref between 2 kiwi teams, how they done it most of season. Whole panel is Aus including TMO suppose it stops the whingers who claim refs are biased etc. Has been interesting to see how many games Gardiner has done in NZ this season, mate in Aus sayid it almost like he had moved here.

Though doesn't worry me who refs it.

Disagree. I think the score flattered the Chiefs.

Chiefs fixed their lineout for the Brumbies so I feel that lineout issue against thr Blues was an anomaly

We probably have to agree to disagree.

I thought the Chiefs had quite a bit the better of the first half - territory and possession. I remember thinking - regardless of the bombed tries - that the Chiefs would have been disappointed not to be ahead by more at the half.

Though it's probably fair to say the Blues came back in the third quarter, so you could argue the try on the hour mark was somewhat against the run of play.

He didn’t get a SF or QF either. It’s unusual.

@Duluth I'd say that is clear evidence he was unavailable.

Chiefs can exorcise a lot of demons here. Win by 8. May the less likable team (Crusaders) lose.

He's actually done very little games this season that I recall.

Wow there were next to no tickets available for public sale! Lucky we got a couple in the social stand but expected at least some small percentage of all ticket categories to be available for a public sale

31-0 for the Crusaders playing at home in the finals and winning, as they say records are made to be broken but the Chiefs will need a slice of luck to win I think.

I am in two minds over who I would like to see win. On one hand, being a Saders supporter it would be nice, even funny, to see them win this year. A team with maligned players and a maligned coach coming out on top. What's not funny about that?

But on the other hand, the ABs come first for me and it's time now for the Chiefs who are hoping play a big part with the ABs this year to show they are better. And that's a fair chunk of the team. I will be worried for the ABs if they don't.

Crusaders chief executive Colin Mansbridge said the ban was due to spectator safety, noting the "tight" confines at Apollo Projects Stadium.

For the sake of NZ rugby and the ABs, I hope the Chiefs beat the Crusaders well. I don't know what the fuss is about with Ethan. I watched him closely for passages of the game last weekend. He's almost always late to the breakdown, and when he gets there he flops onto the ruck and maybe gives it a push if at all. But I wouldn't say he seems to hit the rucks with any sort of ferocity. He's shit at carrying, doesn't have a passing game, and isn't really a dominant tackler (just ask Caleb). I must be missing something. But if I'm not, I hope he and the rest of the pack are exposed by the Chiefs

About as soft as it gets. If that doesn’t say they are worried I don’t know what does.

NZR should step in here, you want the final to have atmosphere, those cowbells would have at least added something to a shit stadium… baffled.
