Wonder if India will get the same tearful editorials about on-field behaviour as we did for ours back in the day...

EDIT: literally 0.5 seconds after I post that, they changed to 15's ... now I'm not so sure, although Handscome is still there ... so the fat lady hasnt sung yet.

I reckon Ashwin might come back in here with a MOTM performance to win it for India with the ball

    Good call!

On the other hand, Mitch Marsh is fucking hopeless. He's got to go! 🙂

That was a quick end. All to play for in the next 2 tests. You know Kohli will eventually cash in.

Batting average of 21.7 after 35 innings - he's making Guppy look like a master.

It's been reported over here that Smith looked for assistance from the dressing room in taking a review and that he'd admitted he shouldn't have done it. Any truth in this and if so was it as bad as it seems?

I saw that last night and my first reaction was that he'd be an automatic pick... for Zimbabwe...

Surely Maxwell has to come in for Marsh now. M. Marsh is one of those players who gets picked because he is the right type of player - he just isn't good enough. It's the same as the Black Caps picking Ronchi for his aggressive batting down the order. Yeah, Ronchi is aggressive but it doesn't matter if he can't score runs.

Quite the kerfuffle around the lesbian looking back towardsthe changing rooms to see if she should review.

Kohli making a big deal of it and media loving it

It was obvious he did it. The ump jumped in straight away. Kohli says the convicts were doing it all game, the umps say it was the first time. Have to say though, Llong looks like he is prepared and watching for it which does make you wonder if the looked at tapes of previous occasions after Kohli had complained about it.
Smith says it was a brain fade. Sadly that one has as much credit as 'I can't recall' and 'dog ate my homework'

Really? I understand Smith's actions and think his explanation rings pretty true.

He's in one of the most pressure-filled situations in world sport, a 4th innings chase in a test match in India. Gets an LBW call, and in the heat of the moment he forgets the rules around looking to the dressing rooms in that situation.

This fiendish Aussie tactic was detected in literally two seconds, and he's sent on his way.

That was a sub-standard pitch for test cricket, one-day cricket and pub twilight cricket.

I think you will know that I'm no Aussie basher and actually enjoy watching your lads play but I don't think for a second that it was a mistake. He is been a pro bat for too long in the big time to know what he is doing out there.

In saying that, are the Indians cheating when they look towards the sky for help? 🙂

Oh I think he meant to look at the dressing room, but it was 100% a brain fade. It had to be - it's a really dumb thing to do and he did it in such an obvious fashion (turning his full body to face the sheds) that everyone picked it up instantly.

I think this whole saga is a sad distraction to what was an epic game of cricket, and frankly I think Kohli is even more of a dick for making a scene post-game.
