    Who's pumped for this?

    Starts tonight

Big news that that DJ is now doubtful after falling down some stairs!

    Apr 5, 2017  /  Sport

Dustin Johnson a doubt for Masters after injuring back in fall on stairs

Dustin Johnson a doubt for Masters after injuring back in fall on stairs

Dustin Johnson’s manager says the world’s No1 player has taken a serious fall on a staircase on the eve of the Masters

Also the weather hasn't been great (tornado warnings) this week meaning a practice day was canned as well as the traditional par 3 tournament. Supposed to be pretty windy first two days which will make it very challenging before settling for days 3 and 4.

My top 3 were DJ, Speith and Leishman (got on at $121 last month, now in to $67) but may need to revise....

Can't wait. If DJ shows up he probably wins, though Spieth is always a shot at Augusta.

I also wouldn't sleep on Matsuyama and Rose. Bit of an omen bet on Day as well, his form has been a bit off but my Dad always tells me 'bet on the best story' and Day coming up the 18th, embracing his sick mother while crying... you can see the headlines now.

@barbarian Interesting quote on ESPN last night, apparently the world #1 has not won the Masters since Tiger did it in about 2002(?)

least no one will be saddled with the dreaded Par 3 winners curse this year!

DJ, Day, Speith, at least one of them will be there come Sunday arvo I reckon, but plenty of contenders, Fowler, McIlroy, Matsuyama, Rose...I'd love Westwood to be there too.

Might have a look at odds of the likes of Couples making the cut, he always starts well.

Love the masters!! Dustin injury is a shame, as he is looking in ominous form.

I think its going to be another random winner this year ...

I quite like the story of DJ winning with a broken back too

Charley Hoffman on an absolute tear when no-one else has looked comfortable. Now has a four shot lead. Will be interesting to see if he can hold on, definite feeling that anyone could win it this year in the absence of DJ.

Westwood is just about the only guy out there who isn't terminally boring or a dick.

All on tomorrow, with a number of quality players in contention.

Of that field, I reckon the winner will come from Speith, Fowler or Garcia...but then the quality means anyone probably from Scott up is in with a shout.

    1 Justin Rose 3.75
    2 Jordan Spieth 4.50
    3 Sergio Garcia 5.00
    4 Rickie Fowler 5.00
    5 Adam Scott 13.00
    6 Ryan Moore 15.00
    7 Charley Hoffman 19.00
    8 Rory Mcilroy 41.00
    9 Charl Schwartzel 41.00
    10 Lee Westwood 81.00

Tomorrow should be pretty amazing. You can't ask for much more. Two great players who are due a major (Fowler and Garcia), proven winners looking for another to put them in Hall of Fame calculations (Rose and Scott) and the redemption story (Spieth).

I bet on Rose before the tournament, and have had a go at Spieth to hedge somewhat. Reckon those two will fight it out.

Yeah. I don't really follow golf one-handed like some of you blokes, but I know he's one of those guys who seemed to have all the talent and just maybe needed a break.

Today he fucking crushed it. That shot into the 14th was tight.

I'm thrilled he won. He's come close so many times. Good on him.
