I'd be very happy if CNN was deleted from the options on Sky. I'd be curious to finally see MSNBC to see just how 'bad' they are at being a left wing version of Fox
It's worth making a note of the difference between editorial content vs news content
CNN is a little different than the the other two because they claim their editorial content is centrist. It clearly isn't and it is infecting their straight news coverage.
MSNBC and Fox don't hide which way it's editorial content leans.
MSNBC doesn't do much straight news, in fact it admitted during the Boston bombing coverage that ratings slipped because they aren't a news channel.
The actual news coverage on Fox is not too bad these days -
LAT: “South Park” turns 20 this year. Has it gotten harder over those years to do satirical comedy, especially now that everyone on the Internet can make their own jokes off the latest news within seconds?
Trey Parker: Yeah, and it’s also just gotten boring. We weren’t ever really that show. We would do an entire season and there would be one moment that played off something that had just happened and people would go, “ ‘South Park’ is the show that does that.” And that’s just not true. We’re not.
We did start to become that, though, especially the last season. We fell into the same trap that “Saturday Night Live” fell into, where it was like, “Dude, we’re just becoming CNN now. We’re becoming: ‘Tune in to see what we’re going to say about Trump.’ ” Matt and I hated it but we got stuck in it somehow.
This season I want to get back to Cartman dressing up like a robot and [screwing] with Butters, because to me that’s the bread and butter of “South Park”: kids being kids and being ridiculous and outrageous but not “did you see what Trump did last night?” Because I don’t give a ... anymore.
We probably could put up billboards — “Look what we’re going to do to Trump next week!” — and get crazy ratings. But I just don’t care.
LAT: Do you think Trump is funny?
Parker: He’s not intentionally funny but he is intentionally using comedic art to propel himself. The things that we do — being outrageous and taking things to the extreme to get a reaction out of people — he’s using those tools. At his rallies he gets people laughing and whooping.
I don’t think he’s good at it. But it obviously sells — it made him president.

I think a lot of people don't like the focus on CNN because it vindicates Trump's earlier claims of them being fake news. TDS runs deep.This. Very much this.
Trump being proven correct is something his detractors cannot handle. It must be ignored or trivialized. -

I'm baffled how this ever got by the editors for publication, but today Erik Wemple at the Washington Post did a little digging into where the MSM got the idea -- heretofore presented to the world as certifiable official blue-checkmark-verified excathedra fact -- that all 17 intelligence agencies in the United States including the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Coast Guard signed off on the conclusion that Rooskies hacked the election.
The ridiculousness of the claim has been exposed for ages, and not simply because James Clapper and James Comey both admitted under oath it was only three agencies, not seventeen, and not simply because the New York Times and Associated Press just this past week issued their own corrections and went back and submitted corrections to articles over the past 8 months.
In Poland today Trump mentioned it wasn't seventeen agencies it was three-or-four. As day follows night predictably liberal lunatic reporters heads exploded. Both Katy "You Don't Even Know What You're Talking About" Tur at NBC and Jim "Very Fake News" Acosta at CNN being especially ignorant jumped up & down they had their gotcha! moment and proclaimed Trump trying to sell "fake news!!!" Ha-ha, in yo face Drumpft!!
The first point of Wemple's commentary is that the egg is all over Tur and Acosta's face. They don't even know obvious facts about the beat they're covering. They look like idiots. Wemple admits the clowns are mistaken and Trump is correct. Again, it baffles me how the Washington Post published this. It must have been incredibly painful for them.
And that gets to the second point of Wemple's commentary where he tracks down the source of the "seventeen intelligence services" horsefeathers mantra and golly-gee que sorpresa! turns out it's none-other-than Queen Hillary herself.

"Western values" and "western culture" is now allegedly shorthand for Nazism. Lots of lunatic liberals saying as much today. Trump Derangement Syndrome now infers Churchill was a Nazi too, you learn something new every day. Charlie Cooke just observed, "The speed with which we move from “he’s destroying Western leadership” to “he’s a Western chauvinist” is remarkable and terrifying."

Seems CNN intends on beclowning themselves on a daily basis. This is not the actions of a 12 year old, but a reporter from what claims to be a serious news outlet.
-
@Salacious-Crumb All very well and yes it is something of a mess but the (much) bigger story should be that three agencies ARE investigating possible foreign interference in the US election. That is yuuuge but seemingly lost in a lot of he said/she said trivial shite.
-
@Catogrande Sums up the real issue doesn't it. Media through their own dumb fault are the boy who cried wolf. How long before we get to a point where Trump could do something really wrong and no-one will believe the coverage?..maybe we are at that point now.
-
@Rembrandt Agreed and this self inflicted damage that much of MSM has achieved is now becoming THE story. Now it is a story worth coverage and in the long term is pretty damned important but to allow it to deflect from hugely important current affairs is a mistake of monumental proportions.
No matter where the blame might lie.

the truly bizarre thing to me is that trump is a notorious liar, exaaggerator etc. he just makes shit up, spouts off with no evidence - and is happy as a pig in shit with it. just brushes it off when it is pointed out t be false. eg obama birth, wiretapping, comey tapes, voter fraud, etc etc. he trivialises and ignores serious issues (russia) which don't suit him.
then CNN retracts a story because it turned out false - they ran it on 1 source without confirmation. people get sacked. sure they show bias, as do Fox etc.and you have trump's supporters crying in outrage at the 'fake news', lies of the MSM etc. which is exactly what trump does, all of the time. he has exactly the media he deserves.
the double standard is hilarious, and that is the real trump derangement syndrome right there.

Yeah nah.. except you seem to be working under the assumption this is all about one network and one story.. it isn't. This is about systemic FAR left bias in the MSM.
Which is now finally being exposed.
Your first sentence is just a load of nonsense so full of things demonstrably wrong it is pointless even discussing it. -

Theory: This is one of Trump's tactics to play the media.
Tweet below.
He purposely makes the mistake of saying John Podesta was in charge of the DNC, not Debbie Wasserman-Schulz. MSM will jump all over the 'mistake' and say what an idiot he is for not knowing that, inadvertently reporting the real question of the tweet. Without this 'mistake', they will not report it.
