Normally it's Labour finding ways to self-destruct... Nice to see another bastion of left-wing politics implode for a change.
Still, that's just a minor distraction. The most important question of the election for everyone else is:
Whatcha gonna do when Jacindamania runs wild on you?

@jegga probably felt if they took the normal channels they'd of been muzzled or some how brushed under the carpet.
What has the great red hope Jacinda made of it?
Not sure, the loons at the standard are ropable , they are pleased that they are getting a roasting on twitter though.

@jegga I guess the other thing is, how many Labour voters arent aware of just how MMP works and the fact that a vote for LAbour is a vote for Turia...that said, you wonder if a condition ol' Whinny might put on working with labour, might be to see the end of Turia...

She'd be fucked if she got a fraud conviction
If it was fraud under the Crimes Act (as opposed to under the Social Security Act), that would make her ineligible to stay in Parliament.

@taniwharugby yeah but that wouldn't be till after the election, by which time the Greens hope they will be in government.
It must be pretty shit to be an MP with some integrity to sit there squirming as this woman gets you tarred with her brush as an unprincipled liar. IMO though these two have waited a bit long, it looks like they are trying to consolidate their personal votes after taking the benefit of Metiria's feral poll bump. On the other hand I'm a known cynic...
Nah, this is the end for them - no way they will win their seats of North Shore (Graham) and Northland (Clendon).
-
@Godder if she's going to be looking for a new job soon she wouldn't be able to practice law again would she?
The greens have done a decent job trying to hide their batshittery over the past few years, Turei immediately backtracks over her insane idea that she wants NZ house prices to collapse , the idiot who said Ebola can be cured with homeopathy is stripped of the health portfolio but its always been there bubbling below the surface. This silly smug woman has made it glaringly obvious that they are not green but a hard left party and now she's causing a meltdown in her own party.
Who believes these people quit over their list placing? They aren't fooling anyone with that bullshit.

So Clendon's running against Winnie Peters? Yeah he's toast. I guess then the resignations aren't quite so principled, given they're only in the job for another month anyway.

The Greens have let another two males go by the wayside.
On April 2 they announced their list, which had three males in the top 11. With Graham gone, that means only two in the top 10. This must surely break their own rules on gender diversity.
don't assume gender please.

What? At least one of them would have easily got back in. He was placed 8th on list.
What will this so to the 50/50 gender balance -
More details starting to leak out, if she steps down they are fucked if she doesnt and this keeps going on week after week till they get down to about 7%.
