@antipodean I think its more of a support type thing and allows them to suckle on that sweet victimhood teat. I don't know guys that openly identify in these groups but that do fit the criteria. Generally in dire need of a good male role model, I can see someone like Jordan Peterson being that person for many.

Yeah, I kind of get that. Like someone who drinks occasionally - they're not hard core, but not smashing DB every night. Also very open to buying fake meat.
I reckon fake meat is going to start making a big impact. I'm a keen smoker of meat and bbqer, but we have tried the Sunfed Farms fake chicken. It is surprisingly authentic - browns in oil, has 'bite' and is basically a genuine chicken alternative in a curry. Right now it's more expensive than chicken, but scale that shit and when it costs half what real chicken costs, watch people make the switch. If they start carbon taxes, then it's even more competitive....
