That England batting lineup is one of their worst ever. Nowhere near test standard

I hate it when Shane Watson does well.

Had been tracking Kane's great season via Cricinfo for the last few weeks - bloody Watson.

Watched the AJ doco last night and it is going to be really difficult to prove the England and Australia fix without more evidence (which of course they may have). A slow run rate on the first morning of a test in India is not really suspicious and with no paper trail, denials will be the order of the day (although interesting that there seemed to be a common thread of England quotes that the "claims were outrageous" which appears to be a carefully chosen phrase - they aren't saying it's not true just that it is an outrageous claim.

Anyway the alleged perpetrators would have to be Australia's openers from that test (Warner & Renshaw) and England's top 3 (Cook, Jennings, Root).

Some of the australian quotes about 'integrity' ring a bit hollow in light of SandpaperGate

@nzzp Not much integrity in cricket anywhere these days.

If the allegations are true, guys can pick up US50-100K just for batting slowly in a test match when they would bat slowly anyway .....

This would blow SandpaperGate out of the water. I can tolerate a bit of cheating here and there, but DELIBERATELY BATTING SLOWLY???

Fuck me, I can't think of anything more UnAustralian.

@virgil Entirely different situation. That was going slow so we could fuck over the Kiwis - the most Australian thing of all maaaaaaaaate.

fark it, I laughed out loud. Well played, sir.

Look, any opportunity to needle the Aussie cricket team is going to be grabbed. Grabbing the moral high ground despite real evidence is what cricket is all about. THERE'S A LINE AND YOU CROSSED IT. BURN IN HELL OCKER.

if I go on to Blackcaps.co.nz (NZC.co.nz) the next internation fixture is June 1 2019 at Cricket World Cup.

If I go on to Cricinfo, trying to navigate to see fixtures is also a nightmare.

Anyone know when the Black Caps are playing next? What series are coming up?

Meanwhile the team that plays in sandpaper coloured uniforms is at Lords facing England without DaveyDumbDumb and Wonderboy.

Doing OK, although as I typed that another wicket fell. Now they have to bat out the last 8 and a half overs at 7 down.

    197/7

Another Convict goes down. Maybe 230 would be maximum outcome from here?

214 only. Should be easy to reach but this is England about to bat.

To be fair our recent record in ODIs is pretty good. This is usual in the lead up to the World Cup where we then revert to being pants.
