@taniwharugby Diverse? I thought everyone here was a Polish person identifying as a female.

That team naming can’t come soon enough, but I think that’s going to be a bit boring too.

Ok so don’t have full team this week... however, from inside the camp....

S Barrett replaces Cane at 6, Tuipolotu on the bench for Todd. Savea at 7. Cane on bench.

Perhaps wrist not great, or just want a bigger/taller team

Can't say that makes any sense to me, our game has been all about the trio all year and now we go for a slower option to add height? I hope Cane is slightly injured and it's enforced because he leads our defence in the opening trench warfare.

Yeah this, we win sith speed and a ferocious and fast loose trio. Ah well in Shag we trust, if true!

Definitely for now, but if we lose I'm going to meltdown like a Cantabrian complaining about Mauger being left out in 07. 😂

It will have only taken you 12 years to see some sense then. Even a little slow for you @Nepia

To be fair, he hasn't yet gone through all the grieving stages for Cully in 2003 - let alone started on processing the injustices of Aaron! 🙂

Don't forget Zac Guilford abandoning the Canes and running away to the inbreds.

@Hooroo Of course they do, where else would they get controversial and idiotic ideas, theories and analysis ( used loosely) from?

If they are reading this I hope they pass on our observations about Rattue to him

Will be interesting to see if Eddie thinks at all of team changes. I could see Kruis starting, which opens up some options for them at 6. Seems Ford is not trusted at highest level, which for me is too timid, as I think they need to take some risks.

See Stuff reporting Kruis and Ford may start: https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/rugby-world-cup/rwc-2019-japan/116859878/all-blacks-v-england-eddie-jones-expected-to-bring-back-george-ford-for-semifinal !

Who is the better 1st 5 Ford or Farrell? Is this purely to give them a second play maker?

Sky were showing the 2018 EOYT tour test v England last night. I caught about the 20 minutes.

I now recall that NZ totally bossed the England lineout last year, Retallick consistently pinching Itoje's ball at the front of the lineout.

NZ started with 4 linrout options; Retallick, Whitelock, Read, Squire. S Barrett replace Squire in the second half.

In the time I was watching NZ had replacement props on with Laulala and THP and Ofa T at LHP. 3 scrums in that time; 1 penalty v NZ when we attacked their scrum but got penalised for angling in. 1 where both scrums attacked each other a bit back-and-forward - hard to tell England slightly on top maybe but seemed to collapse back their way just as ball was taken out (was play on), final action of match was a collapsed scrum that turned into a comedy act of offside hangers-on trying to pressure TJP.

England had Williams and THP, George at hooker and can't remember LHP.

England got a fat start, up 15-0. That's been a habit, thinking of England's tour of South Africa.

Playing catchup would make me nervous with the way knockout rugby is refereed. Hope we start well.

Ford is better with reasonable or good ball. Farrell better behind a struggling pack, but tends to be somewhat robotic.

I like that counter thing at the bottom of the page. That has us winning by 215 to 6.

    These huas read the fern!

three times in the past week, about a couple of hours after a conversation on these threads, suddenly an article would appear.

And sometimes behind a paywall. They are making money off it.
