When's the next match scheduled against England? The buildup to that will be huge.

Based on RWC head to head those rankings are right. Or at least top 4.

Looks like the schedule might not be out yet, just saw some rumors of an expanded comp next year?
"Following Japan’s success at this year’s Rugby World Cup in Japan, as well as Fiji’s status as one of the game’s sleeping giants, the SANZAAR unions (South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Argentina) have reportedly agreed to include them in an expanded Rugby Championship."

@chimoaus reckon that'd be great, make it like the 6N with home and away on alternate years

The Fijians are all playing in European clubs. They won't be at their best in August and September.

Remember, Japan has the population of France and the UK combined.

Or, NZ + Aus + SA + Argentina.

They are a massive opportunity, we've got rocks in our head if we're not trying to break into it. This was true before the RWC, and before we kicked the sunwolves out (or tried to base a team there without support)

With the financial resources available in Japan, we'd be certifiable if we weren't heavily investing in supporting the growth of rugby over there. It could quite literally change the power structure of the game world wide.

You'll note England have already scheduled to play Japan twice in Japan mid next year.

and EOYT games have been organised with the other home nations.

Popped up on my Google news feed thing that Georgia had overtaken Italy.

With all the talk about expanding the 6N thought it may be worth a mention that the 6th Nation is now ranked 13th, and frankly doesn't offer much in terms of interest, excitement, crowds, expansion potential or money.

    A couple of matters arising:

    1. France may consider themselves hat a little low.
    2. Looks like they update daily now instead of weekly

So the task for Fozzie is to remain unbeaten until the clash away against SA then beat them. Simple. Correct placing then established.

If we lose the correct placing is confirmed, we're not as good as SA!

@Machpants Not sure that is right. At full strength there is a gnat's eyelash between the Boks and ABs.

But if Retallick and Whitelock are out because they're in Japan, then its probably a different story.

@Machpants how many times did SA beat us last year?

As @Smuts says, if FA between the top teams, can often come down to an injury, a 50 50 ref call, a player error...
