@Nepia Yep, that's him.
Wayne Rogers, was never happy he had to play 2nd fiddle to Alan Alda during the first 3 seasons of Mash.
When time came to begin filming for season 4 he simply didn’t turn up. Hence why he was written out of the show so suddenly ( no plot story or goodbye involving Hawkeye)Yeah I’ve watched Mash a fair few times..

Looking back it seems bizarre that there were more series with the new guy than with Trapper. I don’t remember it that way. He was nowhere near as good and as for a name. I mean. BJ? Really?

Interesting fun fact, everyone that replaced someone on Mash stayed longer then the original did..

Hi. My name is R. L and I am a Top Gun fan....
Finally watched it. I am now Hot for pilots. Like seriously hot...
Jeeeeeeesus that was good, had it all, action, sexiness, sweatiness, tears, that old bird. I mean Val was obviously the highlight but I even fancied Tom a bit too, which is an absolute first. His laugh still annoys me, but you can't have it all.Pheeeeew Hot.
Especially loved this little moment..
5 loving feelings out of 5 danger zones. -
Danger Close
Seemed like an appropriate weekend to watch it. Not bad at all. Black Hawk Down-esque in its faceless enemy. Not a big budget war movie by any stretch, but a pretty good movie none the less.
3.5 mates out of 5 i wish i had more bullets

Watched a couple of Netflix movies over the weekend and write this to warn others, don't bother.
Final Score - starring Dave Bautista , Ray Stevenson and Pierce Brosnan
Sorry Dave but you just aren't this kind of action star, Pierce just mails it in and a plot line thinner than Dave's acting skills.
1.5 pretend Russians out of 5 guns that never run out of bulletsAnd I know others have mentioned this but 6 Underground is just a mess of a movie. Some good scenes especially if you like a car chase, but nothing really makes sense. I tend to like Ryan Reynolds but in the words of this critic "it is little more than endless explosions, an unbelievable plot and explicit content".
2 hot bods out of 5 nonsensical plotlinesNow, for the decent...
Watched Extraction and this was pretty entertaining. Not brilliant but much better than the two above for entertainment. Lots of decent gun play (almost Wick'esk) by Chris Hemsworth. Thin plot but a better made movie than the other two.
If you are looking for good mindless entertainment with gun fights and car chases, go for this over the other two!
3.5 the hot Hemsworths (according to my wife) out of 5 John Wick is betterAnd finally, watched the DC series over the weekend - Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and finally Justice League.
Need to re-watch Wonder Woman and Aquaman but, those three movies are definitely better as a whole rather than individual movies. Definitely an example of something that is better as the sum of it's parts.
Things just made a lot more sense and tied plot lines together. Still not as good as the Marvel movies but better than I thought on first watching the individual movies.
Some thoughts, Cavill is my favourite Superman, he is the first to really have that invincible presence and the body to match. Especially once resurrected in Justice League and takes on Steppenwolf easily where he had previously beaten all comers.
On first viewing, I didn't like Affleck as Wayne/Batman but after watching again, he has grown on me and I'd like to see him continue. In fact, I'd like to see both continue in their roles and see if they can lift the DC series.
Oh, and Aquaman was severely under-used in Justice League and I'd rather they keep him in his own movies. And get rid of that Flash, he was bland and boring.

5 loving feelings out of 5 danger zones.Watch out @Snowy ! Thankfully she didn't mention Navs/RIOs so I'm safe
On a Families Day, I was showing kids around the cockpit of the Tornado. I was explaining the ejection seat to a kid around 8 I guess.
Me 'So when you pull the handle both seats fly out of the plane on rockets, and you have a parachute to land'
Kid 'Yeah I know, the guy in the back hits the canopy though and dies' -

I'm more Nick "Goose" Bradshaw looking (and that was some time ago in my dreams) than the other two so I doubt that I am going to get stalked although I'm sure @R-L would be a lovely stalker.
That movie actually started me flying so I can understand the fandom. I'm too tall to fit in an Skyhawk so couldn't go RNZAF (fast jets anyway). Think Jester flew a Skyhawk in the movie didn't he?

It was billed here as being an accurate representation of the Battle of Long Tan. It's not and the portrayal of Smith and Stanley is utterly ridiculous, just to give two examples.
