Probably worth mentioning that if you make the decision not to have kids, you will probably be asked to get the snip. I had some good advice about that - choose a weekend with lots of sports on TB, you won't be moving much. Also have multiple bags of frozen peas or suchlike in the freezer...

Has been well worth it ever since though.

My wife was very paranoid about getting pregnant prior, so condom only, post snip was like walking in the mud barefoot, wish I had done it earlier 🙂

Mine was on the pill - so mood swings, hormones, all that stuff. Not cool to live with.

She also got hornier after I was done, so a serious win after a weekend of watching sport and having bags of frozen peas on your balls. She also felt guilty about it so I used that for quite some time too.

oh i got fucking stiched up. you know those 30-odd orgasms you are supposed to have to clean the pipes "oh yeah i will definitely help you with that" fucking bullshit you will. I'll just take care of all this myself shall i?

    You was robbed mate.

    fucking robbed.

Bugger, I might have to roll the big guns out and pick up a nice takeaway, a bottle of red and then sit through some bullshit TV about a farmer choosing a wife.while rubbing her feet.

@mariner4life Oh shit sorry to hear that, sounds painful. I have had the pleasure of a cathater removed which I would rather not repeat. My old man got kicked in the nuts by a cow, knocked him out cold and was hospitalised as a result.

Menopausal wife is even better. Hasn't had any of the bullshit that is associated with it, but goes at it like a rabbit and still seriously fit. Happy days.

@NTA I definitely won't gloat that I have over 100 acres on a hill with a small house overlooking mountains. That would just be mean.

Decided not to buy (push the envelope a bit) on a horticulture property a few years ago, kids and wife and tight budgets weighed on my mind. I'd be 3 times richer already I had, damn kids .....

Do you play cricket? I play over-35s cricket. Good social game, viable in your 40s to actually play.

Agreed. Although not to put anyone off the process, one one side I wasn't administered enough local anaesthetic. Problem rapidly solved.

Best bit as I explained to my wife is anyone who comes to the door with a kid under a certain age can be summarily dismissed. She didn't think that was as funny as I did.

I got them to tranquilise me. Just a sedative, but the whole concept freaked me out and being a little stoned was certainly a help. Pretty good excuse too I think.

That was almost 15 years ago..... The key for me is to make sure I don't piss her off, do all my chores and make her plenty of tea. Then I go from a 1% to 2% chance 🙂

Is that not considered grovelling? The takeaway and the red, yeah fine, but the TB show, fuck that. Feet rubbing - if you really have to, feet end up at legs that end up...

While Australia might be a bit more competitive than here in NZ (in cricket). Might be surprised at the standard you can get away with. Can be 'hidden' until your body catches up a bit and muscle memory starts to return, In the mean time beers on the sideline if you're in a social grade, and after the match.

Team sports clubs are genuinely pleased to have the new players to keep the teams ticking along, needs some constant renewal. Club captain will get you into a team that needs you.
