Even for stuff this is barrel scraping bullshit. Wellington has always been a tricky place to land. Is it yet another lame dig at Jetstar ?
I'm not allowed to comment. Broken record apparently, according to @MajorRage anyway. My comment above is purely about the reporting, which is shit.
Wasn't she married to his kidneys once?

Grant is a hell of a nice fella. What he was doing with her is anyone’s guess.

@smudge Thanks for that
I particularly liked
Gillespie is the framed “Live. Laugh. Love” picture on the bedroom wall of banality.
and
For all this book’s faults, the women’s mag readers will no doubt swallow every insipid morsel; seagulls picking through the ripped bin bag of Gillespie’s brain.
although the womens mag sneer is a bit intellectually elitist and redundant

You'll love this reporting:
The Metropolitan Airports Commission confirmed the incident, adding that the plane aborted its launch and returned to a gate at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. The door was reportedly found nearby.

Honestly, Britain is not as bad as you make out

@donsteppa
I've only been nervous on a flight once. Returning to London from Egypt you could hear wind whistling round one of the doors so loud that you could not hear the movie soundtrack even with headphones. Cabin crew stuffed towels around the doorWe didn't divert or land but it was a bit eerie. @Snowy how 'normal' is this?
-
@mn5 the plane fly's the plane. The pilots are just there to make the cattle feel comfortable.
Have you not read @Snowy 's posts. He was a petrol jockey trying to save the airline fuel who spent most of his time deciding where he'd drink at his destination and thinking up ways to scare the passengers and / or piss off the crew.
That's what I've taken from them anyway...

Nice try, but I don't comment on aviation related topics. Too boring for some.

@dogmeat Dungeon planning. You forgot dungeon planning.
More than happy to talk about that. It is of course a cellar for chianti and fava beans with some space for people that piss me off, or even "interest" me.
It is actually you guys that bring this up. I just play along, and will continue to do so as I am actually planning one.

News!
That's right there with the article about the wife that stayed with her transgender husband for 12 years since he "transformed"

Definitely pays not to write shit online when you’re pissed.
The fern is exempt from this rule of course.

Obviously a stupid and dickish move by the twat, but now comes the overload of virtue signallers piling on and effectively killing a business. What about all the poor folk that will be out of work? The bloke has resigned, that ought to be enough.

I think an apology and an explanation of the context was enough personally but that’s just me.
Mind you that’s no where near enough in this day and age of perfectly behaved virtue signallers who’ve never made mistakes in the heat of a moment.

There seems to be some debate about whether he has truly resigned. I agree it's harsh the company and other employees suffer but I get sick off assholes getting caught out and then pushing the "I'm not a racist line". Of course you fucking are twat. Maori are the scourge of NZ and should all be put in jail. There's no walking back from that sort of comment.
@MN5 I've made plenty of mistakes in my life. I wouldn't consider myself a virtue signaler either but as above tearful remorse and it's all the pressure I'm under / it's not who I am etc just doesn't cut it for me. If you weren't a racist you would never even think of making a comment like those he put up. There have to be personal consequences for such a contemptible post and I'm quite comfortable with him losing his job (and finding it difficult to get another) as long as innocents don't go down with him
