    Our lineout is an embarrassment.

Our forwards are allergic to attacking breakdown.

We need a change of players, and a change of coach for the forwards. This is embarrassing at this point. And it's not like this is a new problem, our forwards have been lazy around the breakdown since at least 2018. I don't know why, but any time we get counterrucked, you can be sure there'll be a couple of forwards looking right at it two metres away.

We seem to deliberately commit the bare minimum number of players to attacking rucks; it may give us an extra pod to pass to but it costs us so much possession and penalties, it's such dumb rugby. But we persist with it anyway. I'm so sick of this shit.

And to be fair, this isn't even a criticism of Foster, this predates his promotion, this is just how we play and it's showing no sign of changing.

Not sure we were offside. But Ref was throwing penalties around at the end.

Just saw a replay... Will need to look again, but not sure we were offside. May have been an earlier phase?

@yeetyaah Dead right. It clogs up every ABs thread haha. We got smacked around up front and the Boks actually use the up and under very well and attack off the back off it. If they had a more rounded fullback, they'd have finished us off earlier imo and probably taken another opportunity in the 1st half.

He didn't drop the bottle either.

Exactly. And a bit of praise from the peanut gallery wouldn’t go astray either.

We lost our way after mistaken penalty on BB.

Very poor direction of cutter in last 15.

ABs probably shaded things for me, but ref mistakes and brain fades did for us.

Boks made most of limitations and took the chances, so well done them.

Considering the discourse on here it's hilarious they're about to present us with the RC trophy.

The only real unforgivable one was that throw to the front when we are 5m out.

Ardie looked to have called that

Shit tactics. Didn't adjust to their ruck tactics.

    Very poor captain selection.

No real game plan worse than last week,we learnt nothing.

I blame TJP and Mo'unga at the end. Pick and goes are always 50/50.

Mo'unga really struggles against teams like the Boks and England who are super physical on defense. He got smashed when he came on and hardly featured after that.

It feels much better to lose against the Boks when they play like that, would have been furious if the ABs lost the last game, so, easier to say "well done, fluffybunnies" 🙂

Enjoyable tense test 👌🏻Recovered a bit of pride at least after losses. That pass from Am in first half was epic 😂 and Frans Steyn really gave direction in 2nd 40. Hope the guys all enjoy beers together in shed afterwards 🍻

Every arrogant fluffybunny who talked about how the Boks couldn’t hang with us should have a good look in the fucking mirror. They play differently and they are fucking dangerous.

    Terrible captaincy.

Bad performance by a lot of players in black.

Great performance by a lot of players in green.

If we were so bad and they were so good you'd think they would have won by more then a penalty in overtime.

That was a great test, so much better than last week. Both teams made mistakes but also had moments of pure brilliance, and the end of the match was absolutely hectic. Love test matches like that.

I think it was a great test too, but most on here we’re talking about how we were 15 points better. That’s karma coming home right now.

We aren’t. We’re very evenly matched abd we might want to recognize it. Ardie would be the only forward who shaded their opposite tonight, but only as a player. All told their front 8 was better than ours all night. We need to wake up to that.

Boks deserved to win, cos they can play hard man rugby. But this is going to be the norm for this RWC cycle, ABs are flat track bullies, with no guts or tactics versus SA style of team.

    Bring on regime change

Why the fuck wasn't Taukei'aho on the bench. Why the hell play a hooker against the boks whose throwing is poor?

    From the starting 15,
Savea was the only LF who stood up,tight Five were shit.
Jordie was great , Weber and Reece played well.
Reiko was pretty good apart from a couple of dropped high balls.
Beuden Barrett had a couple of great runs but generally was pretty shit.
He didn’t control the game at all.
Savea is just not a Captain.

    Yeah... that hurts.
But - the Bokke deserved that.
Around the half-time mark - I was kinda thinking "is this what it looks like when powder is kept dry... and then actually brought out for use?"
Coz... yeah - they played the full game... using what worked against us from the last game, but then also bringing in the backs and counter-attacks.
    Well done. Fuck ya.

    The negative view:
...yeah, I'm with the view that we should have been able to defuse all of that with tactics, Plan B, coaching, blah blah blah. And we just plain didn't.

Positive is Jordie is now locked in as 15, and goalkicker. He was dominating out there.

It's incredibly dumb play to be soft at the contact trying to recycle and count down the clock.

That wasn't the only dumb thing on display tonight, not by a long way.

And whatever character the team was showing in the last 2 games (and it was great to see) went missing tonight. No-one seemed to be taking ownership when things weren't going well - players seemed to be just wandering about.
