He's highlighted the issue with young players coming through the ranks quickly (or skipping them altogether). Lack of game situation experience and, therefore, decision making skills.

Great starting line up for the Chiefs, surely a win for the Guzzler's 100th.

I thought Sullivan would have done enough to get another start. I had to look up who Ataata Moeakiola is before remembering he's another foreigner. Anyone know when Alaimalo is back?

@Nepia According to a stuff article that was published on 7 February, Alaimalo was expected to be out for 4 weeks, so that would be end of February/early March.

They better bloody not, I'm going to be at a stag party that consists of mountain biking, watching this match and karaoke. I hate mountain biking and karaoke so this was going to be the highlight of the day for me.

Bit of feeling out between the sides, Brumbies looking good with the ball.

Have to say the lineouts this season by most teams has been woeful, no idea what’s going on.

I loved the look of disgust from Brodie directed at Harris while still in the air

Are Australian teams better this year, or are NZ teams worse/affected by AB stand-downs, or a bit of both?

Our teams are worse for sure but stand downs have affected us. I doubt the Aussies have improved, but maybe having one less team is starting to benefit them?

Remember the Brumbies finished last year with a wet sail - they almost beat Chiefs in NZ to sneak into playoffs.

@Tim I think in the case of the chiefs, some experienced campaigners like Ngatai & Messiam who have moved on starting to bite, but also not having several others through injury including Sam Cane don’t help..on saying all that the Chiefs have been very passive in defence
