We're only 1-1 because we have abstained from Marshes.

    Why change that?

Khawaja has mainly been a passenger during the first three Tests. I haven't seen lots of him, but there's a hint of flat track bully...

Genius work by the schedulers putting a test in Manchester in September. First three days are going to be rain disrupted. Cold after that. I hope the lads from Perth and Queensland have some woolly jumpers.

Oz two best bats survive until rain. Labuschagne is a class batsman.

    Oz 98/2

Replay of the final day of the last test. Even better watching it again!

@Hooroo Like watching a spastic with tourettes, but somehow he makes it work. Quite compelling viewing.

That's why I like it because he is so unorthodox. It throws everything out the window

Total Innings over 50 in the series so far - 20 from 89 starts (top 7 batsmen only).
Total for Smith and Labuschagne - 8 from 8.

For England's top 7, only Stokes and Burns average above 30, Roy and Buttler are under 10.

Labuschagne is totally the real deal.

Goddamit, was hoping for sketchy aussie batting fir our tour their this summer.

After that start, 170 in a rain-interrupted day with our best bat still at the crease is a good result.

But I'm getting sick of saying "after that start", really. Warner needs to learn to shoulder arms properly, or change up his stance to Broad.
