Oi!,do you have a license for that delicious looking pizza?
I can see a clash with the "big is beautiful" activists in the near future.
What I find weird is that stress about body image is at an alltime high, yet so is obesity. Interesting that hot chick on posters is banned in London yet obese land whales on the front cover of magazines is applauded. There can never ever be some kind of middle ground on anything can there?
Hot chick banned in London? Say what?

@rancid-schnitzel they had the 'fat expert' from Massey uni on TV last night (the project)... far out. I get there are many reasons contributing to obesity and that 'shaming', in the genuine sense, isnt overly helpful for most. But to try and frame any and all commentary about risks and implications of obesity as shaming is fucking bullshit and dangerous.

The posters in the Tube stations. Kahn had them banned. You must have heard about it.

That's the problem isn't it. You should never assume an overweight person is just lazy. There s also a place in hell for those who mock overweight people at the gym or who are genuinely trying to lose weight. But when you get grossly overweight people trying to normalise that and labelling reasonable comments about health risks etc "fat shaming" then you have a serious problem.
Let's face it, the vast majority of people affected by this obesity "epidemic" do not have glandular problems or other issues that prevent them from losing weight.

and folk have been drawing parallels to this:

BBC last night on a late news show had a (12 minute) piece about TR in general. I didn't watch it, just saw the lead in ad, but some of you may be interested in searching it out.
(I think it may have been Newsnight on BBC2 if you are searching)
EDIT: BBC iPlayer link for those that can connect past the geoblock
https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0bnb4s8/newsnight-11102018"When Tommy Robinson - real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon - the former leader of far-right group the EDL, was jailed for contempt of court, a petition for his release attracted more than half a million signatures.
No longer involved with the English Defence League, he has gathered support after campaigning against what he calls "Muslim grooming gangs," following now concluded court cases around England.
He has also campaigned in Italy, Germany and other European countries where anti Islam parties have made electoral gains.
This phenomenon has not been seen here in the UK but Tommy Robinson appears to be gaining some apparently more mainstream political backing.
The leader of UKIP has said he would like him to join his party.
So, is Robinson tapping into anti-Muslim sentiment, or simply fermenting it - and what are the roots of his support? This report by Gabriel Gatehouse contains strong language and comments some might find offensive." -

Fuck it. Fat people die.
Edit: just to elaborate ... obesity is a health issue. Just re read this and it may appear I was imploring fat people to die. Given my current weight that would be ... awkward.

Indeed. But should over eaters with mental disorders be lumped in with lazy dumb fluffybunnies?

@kirwan Funnily enough Lineham was one of the main comedians calling for Markus Meechams prosecution. The sheer idiocy of these folk who don't understand the consequences of these prosecutions.
"...And then they came for me and there was no one left to speak up."
Short documentary on the Nazi pug has just been released.

Can you imagine how fucked we would be if the Fern was still hosted in the UK?

There are so many Gender Studies SJW buzzwords here it makes my eyes bleed.
This quote:
Mr Purnell said: “We’re aiming to create the most open, inclusive culture we can.”
Just make sure you don't talk about biology, or the culture will suddenly seem less open and inclusive.
