    Referee appointments:

    France v New Zealand
    Referee: Wayne Barnes (RFU)
Assistant Referee 1: Luke Pearce (RFU)
Assistant Referee 2: Karl Dickson (RFU)
    TMO: Stuart Terheege (RFU)

The All Blacks against France. The man with the whistle is Wayne "blind as a bat" Barnes. What could possibly go wrong?

Bollocks, he's a great ref. Sure in 07 he was totally inexperienced and fucked the ABs, freezing liked a podium in the lights, but that was 14 years ago. He's one of the best refs in the world now

He robbed the ABs of a World Cup knockout game and shouldn't have been allowed to referee an under 11 match after that let alone international tests. He's fucked up several other tests since then. A dreadful ref.

Usually has a brain fart or two each game. Not the first name that springs to mind when I think of the best, hell I've only barely forgiven him for 2007....

Wait... podiums move about if not lighted?

Yeah, that's why they keep the spotlight on them, to keep the sneaky bastards from running off before medal ceremonies!

Nothing. It was just a rumour on the internet.

Pivac was considered a disaster early on. The fans wanted him out early on.

To your second point, I have been saying that for a while. The coaching drain is having a bigger impact than the player drain - it affects all levels of rugby in NZ.

I don't think fozzie gets into the top 5 NZ coaches around the globe. Maybe scrapes into the top 10

Top 5 from ... Jones, Pivac, Rennie, Joseph, Robertson, Rassie (videos aside?)
Brown (more a gifted assistant at international level a la Wayne Smith?)
Gatland (stylistically not my cuppa for the ABs, but his historical international results vs resources big picture are top drawer).
Maybe Townsend because reputedly Eddie hates facing his sides, can't predict him tactically at all and that's saying something.

That's eight/nine to start with, six kiwis. Closing the coaching gap has made NH sides a much tougher nut to crack once the AB talent of 2015 faded a notch or two.

Check out his mask, it's not just poorly fitted, it's inside out.

Full 95 masks, great, inside out, FFS

Who hasn't put a mask on upside down/inside out? Hell, I have even tried drinking a coffee with a mask on. I wouldn't recommend that.

I knew Oz has extra precautions we haven't had over here, but putting a mask on a coffee is nek level.

As Graham Henry always said “better mask put-oners make better All Blacks”.

Still a very strong squad that will test us.
