So what would a no fly zone achieve, does Putin suddenly respect international law?
Nothing much, apart from WW3.
I'm lead to believe that the Russian air force has been largely absent anyway.

They were blowing up targets with helicopters though

Fuck it does my head in watching these Russian officials stand in front of these international committees and tell us that their forces didn't shell the power plant, that it's all Western lies - we watched the whole fucking thing live mate, at least own your atrocities.
Anyway, a question for you all. I get why the West doesn't want to introduce a no-fly zone, but what, if anything, would it take to change that view? A direct attack on a NATO country I assume - but anything Ukraine-specific? Is there some other level of atrocity Russia could commit that could cause a rethink? What if they had caused a reactor to blow/leak whatever at the plant? Bombing of a school or hospital? How many dead civilians?
View seems to be it would be both counter-productive and dangerous.

Consensus is that the cease fire for people to leave is the pre plan to Russia completely flattening the area.
I will never ever understand war thinking.
Just read a tweet by Andrew Neil suggesting similar, that the Russkies have form.
But why,? What is gained?
Mind you, I still can't get my head around Vlad's overall objective.
