I'm guessing this will be popular amongst Green voters.

    Stuff

    She's a bitch.

But I did enjoy the Luminaires immensely. Not sure this new book is my cup of tea though 🙂

I heard it was a bit of a challenge, but you reckon worth it? I might add it to the pile then .

Definitely recommend it if you're into historical fiction. I'm a massive fan of clavell, igguldon, Cornwell etc...

But stuff actually happens in the books form those writers... action occurs.. Luminaries was a steaming pile of waffling boring no-action bullshit IMO

Different strokes I guess, though the ending did leave a little to be desired.

Thats exactly the criticism I've heard from many people about James Clavell who is one of my favourite authors.

I really enjoy her descriptive style of writing.

Confession.. I never finished it. Got about 100 pages from the end and lost the will to read . One of the most boring books I have ever read (or not quite read in this case)

@MN5 however you spell it, he is still a cnut...I just don't often say the word and liked the fluffybunny filter, so I spell it cnut as it doesn't get picked up by my mailmarshall, and do so out of habit...but I like @booboo spelling better!

Give it back to him, and offer the other prisoners a pack of cigarettes every time they rip it off his head.

Smith said that he had ongoing issues with self esteem and confidence...

I'm not fucking surprised. A bit more reflection and he might realise that baldness is the least of his problems.

Well it couldn't be due to his winning personality.... I think he appears to prefer being the dominant person
