@jegga That is a good article. And sums up I think what a lot of people are feeling. They care about the environment, climate etc, but will not follow militant dictators into battle. The Greens may have a tiny base who love that, but they lost a huge number of supporters last election, and if they lose a heap more, they will be in total oblivion.

Jacko loses a little bit of her lustre. But everyone else including Simon the little battler and Crusher are miles back

Ardern & Peters both away, so next up to answer questions on behalf of the Prime Minister during Question Time today was Kelvin Davis. Yet, despite being on the precinct an hour earlier to acknowledge the arrival of the Hands Off Our Tamariki march, he was mysteriously nowhere to be seen at 2pm. I mean, considering he's hopeless when answering oral questions, I can understand why they hid him, but it's a pretty ugly look.

Not surprising. Hopefully the polls continue to reflect their ineptitude.
Any rumours about Labour gifting the greens or nz first a seat next year? Considering how often their shill blog has derided National for giving Act epsom I almost hope they do.

@Rembrandt if it’s so important I don’t see why they can’t just have two categories- sex and gender. Sex you (obviously) can’t change, and people are free to make up whatever they want for gender. Seems like an obvious solution.

I would have thought the obvious solution is to record what gender you are biologically born with. Testable through your DNA.

@booboo am sure like me, you have met plenty of people in your lifetime who lack commonsense...therefore stands to reason plenty of people in power will also lack it.
It isn't a lack of common sense. It is a lack of courage

Add in lack of intelligence and it’s a wonder the lights are on really.

I'd also throw in a heap of resentment born from being taught an extremist ideology at our modern learning institutions

A political party largely despised by the country was forced to hold its conference in secret and banned the press from taking photos and video out of fear of backlash for the hateful and divisive ideology.
Kyle Chapman and his neo Nazi followers.... gotcha it was actually the Greens -
I know this is largely an older story, but a couple of things:
The Labour Party is reviewing an investigation into bullying, sexual harassment and sexual assault by a Labour staffer.
So we have alleged sexual assault...
She would not say if the person was still employed, saying it was not an employment issue but a party issue.
Er, both wrong, sexual assault is a police issue.

Remember the furore when John Key pulled a waitresses hair? Labour seems to have a pretty serious issue with sexual predators in its ranks but it’s apparently no big deal .
I think our part time pm is in Vogue soon , so that should take their rape culture out of the headlines for a day or too.

It seems pretty obvious now when the likes of Marvelly, Mau and labour and green MPs protest about rape culture and the patriarchy it’s all about the target not the cause .
The silence from all of them over the fact a victim of sexual assault who works for the pm had to go to Bennett for help is amazing .
