Sam Matenga has been training in the 23 so if Fletch is out I expect Sam will be on the bench.
That would be quite a loss.
Matenga promoted ahead of presumably Calder? Is he also injured?

For the sake of NZ rugby and the ABs, I hope the Chiefs beat the Crusaders well. I don't know what the fuss is about with Ethan. I watched him closely for passages of the game last weekend. He's almost always late to the breakdown, and when he gets there he flops onto the ruck and maybe gives it a push if at all. But I wouldn't say he seems to hit the rucks with any sort of ferocity. I hope he has a bad game (which he hasn’t this season, in fact he has been the complete opposite) and is then named on the 23rd.

Sam featured earlier in the season. He’ll be up for it. Would be ideal to have our 3 AB props fit and firing for the big dance, but I’m more worried about the drop off we’ve seen a few times this season when Taylor has been replaced.

Which is a worry when Bell is presumably the next in line for ABs if any of the top 3 are injured.....

@Chris there was a thing on tv1 earlier today about tennis players receiving abuse and threats via social media when they lost, almost half due to gambling, we know Barnes and other refs have received abuse too, sad world out there now for many in the public eye.
Pretty sad making threats like that, but banning them seems a bit OTT to me....
