@Bones cmon bro, you know the English always wear shoes outside!

Mrs TRs Granny just about had kittens the day I went out to play in the snow in barefeet and shorts (as a boy who grew up in Northland and had never been somewhere while it snowed)

@jegga There I was, perusing the Fern and demolishing two pieces of Scotch Fillet, and suddenly the cow family story and vegan horror.

Is it bad I didn't miss a beat in cutting the next bite?

@canefan Shit. That isn't going to help with the 'no really, I am a woman' line, is it.

    Might be a problem

Anyway, salad is overrated as a main feature of a meal

I accidentally forgot the salad. Just steak and a tub of chocolate gelato. Because my body is a temple etc etc.

Talking about diets (or the need for one), we have been laughing at the TV clips we are getting on the earthquake here in the UK when the Minister for Eating Gerry Brownlee appears.
In one clip you may have seen he is standing next to Key and the moment Key mentions the word 'food' his eyes light up and he licks his lips. Total subconscious reaction I am sure.
I bet the good folk of Kaikoura were relieved to see him run to the rescue so he could fix up their town as well as he has with ChCh.

They're speculating that the seal breeding grounds and the waterfall pool at Ohau Point have been destroyed. That would be a huge shame - that waterfall pool was one of the best attractions in NZ.

Just felt another wee one - and another building is being evacuated in Wellies (Tennyson street). Mates who work down the Govt end of town have been told Friday will be the earliest their work opens back up.

It's the incremental damage to buildings that is on my mind, wonder what sort of technology aside from the Mark One eyeball is being used to check buildings??
