    @donsteppa It's both. The Ref looks to be panicking and teh AB's are playing like shit

    I do not want to see Beaudy going back to 15. Our bench balance is wrong. We're missing Ben Smith, Dagg & Jordie Barrett in that regards.

    @crucial Any AB 15 should be able to catch and pass and run support. The mistakes and poor decision making he brings is not suited to this level imo.

    @victor-meldrew Yeah, ABs scoreless in the 2nd half and to be fair haven’t looked like working a try.

    Probably lucky ALB didn't cop a yellow for that offside... Angus has no fucking clue.

    @jc Worst 40mins of AB rugby I've seen since RWC2007 v France

    Except we'll likely win this one

    Looking forward to Dagg and J Barrett being available again.

    DMac is one of those players who ends up being very average on balancing his brilliance vs gifting the ball away.

    @crucial the ref and the ABs deserve every bit of criticism they’ve received. It’s hard to know who of the two has been worse this half

    ABs this time, but they have already put the points up so have credit to eat away at. FFS, they will still win this comfortably.

    I know everyone will think I'm simply white knighting DMac but his good plays made more points than his errors gave away. That's a positive return.

    Leaving aside whatever the standard for a starting AB is.

    There is a difference between being largely ineffective, but marginally positive and wildly hot and cold erring slightly on the positive side.

    The game these days is built on capitalizing on those rare errors and it's tough carrying a guy when you know he is going to make four befuddling decisions per test (especially when we are carrying SBW who is good for one absolute boneheaded move).

    I did not know the ball sitting two foot clear of the ruck with the halfbacks hands hovering over it was still considered to be in the ruck.

    You do know that he is filling in as best available option at the moment? If BFA or JB or Dagg were available he wouldn't be there?
    You make it sound like he thinks he is in that 15 jersey from absolute merit when everyone knows the reality.
