I used the 2 day rule after meeting Mrs CF. Tomorrow then a day. God bless you Vince
Meh, I'm more of a strike while the irons hot [or before she comes to her senses depending on your perspective] kind of guy. its worked out ok for me.
I think the confidence thing is the crucial element. The ladies can smell fear
Yes but only moments before they smell chloroform.
I smelt that once. Gave me a really sore arse.

12 Strong
I found this quite enjoyable. The generally-factual tale of a US Army Special Forces unit dropped into Afghanistan in the first days of the war to bring Northern Alliance leaders into the fold, and assist by calling in air strikes aka carpet bombing the fuck out of everything Taliban.
Hemsworth really Hemsworths the shit out of it, and his wife (played by his wife) is hot. Michael Shannon plays a great Chief Warrant Officer Zod, and the supporting cast are great.
The movie is a bit U-S-A but you'd expect that. Mostly it is about the relationship between Hemsworth and General Dostum.
4 splosions out of 5 horsey warriors.

Triple Frontier.
Ludicrously bad. Netflix needs to start doing some quality control on the scripts they fund.

Genuinely excited to see this. Hope they stick the landing.
That certainly stirs the loins. My only quibble is them bringing back bow and arrow gimp played by the equally gimpish Jeremy Renner. Such a shiiitt character. Otherwise looks epic.

@antipodean is that the Ben Affleck one? If so, I added it to my watch list last night....

Yes it is. The acting is fine. It has a good cast. But the development of the story in the second half is laughable.

oh no, i had high hopes for this. Is that why the trailer was so long and so detailed?

this is going to make all of the money. All of it.
It's why i am a little surprised Captain Marvel is doing as well as it is, considering everyone is holding out for this in like a month.

@mariner4life They have spent hundreds of millions of dollars on marketing, and everybody wanted to see the end credits tease for Endgame.
