Interesting for me is how poor Crotty has been. And the mistakes made by Havili and Ennor. However game lost with 3 dreadful throws by Ben Funnell.
Crotty looks just soooo slooooooooowww.
Crotty and SBW in the AB’s midfield and we’d need Usain Bolt somewhere in the mix to make up for it. .
If we're excluding Nonu on pace, and then questioning SBW's pace then Crotty should be under the same microscope.

@taniwharugby I haven’t seen the consistency in Ennors game. Looks great running forward with ball in hand (speed and size) but not totally convinced. Agree with comments about SBW and Crotty together. SBW has played hardly any rugby last 2 years. Crotty better but needs to pick it up.

@antipodean I wonder if the Chiefs injury situation has meant he has played much more than they had planned, what is it 3 games back and what, >200 mins for them?

Great game well done Chiefs!

Great game from the chiefs..
Sam Cane my MOM ..his turn overs in the last 10 were priceless
Really fantastic to see Jack Debreczini steer the chiefs around his use of the inside ball opened the Saders consistently during the game.
Superb games from Wainui, Alaimalo and Weber if he does not get selected on form ,you would have to question Hansen..
I reckon that first 20 minutes may have come to easy for the Saders ..but man alive you have got to give the Chiefs their dues..they have ticker in spades..
I see a few are already having a crack at Read..to be fair he had a quiet night, but I certainly did not see a whole lot of mistakes from the All Black skipper..and in my humble opinion he’s still way ahead in terms of experience,Leadership, brains and more importantly temperament..!
Great nights entertainment compared to what I saw 24 hours ago. -

I saw that coming, how dumb was that? Mo'unga moron
Mounga didn't do a hell of a lot tonight did he, Debreczeni (spelling) was the better 10. Shows that RM isn't the second coming - and makes mistakes.
Comedy gold, that comment.

Awesome game from the Chiefs! What a comeback! Handled the conditions so much better than the Crusaders.
Great game from Sowakula, ALB, Cane and a few more.
Only the Crusaders scrum was better, but the Chiefs dominated the game except for the first 20 minutes.Goodhue and Barrett were good. Mixed bag from Ennor, Havili and Harmon, who showed great skills as well as dumb ball handling. Mo'unga quiet; and Crotty and Read not half as bad as some are saying.
Funnell had a shocker; two years ago he was excellent, but since then he's been out with injury for most of the time and his short stints in-between injuries haven't been good at all.
So good to see Cane back in form, as if he's never been away. Great for the ABs.

Fuckin beautiful!
I had to go out at 50 minutes and came back to watch the rest.Still think Cooper is a crap coach?
Still think there should be a cantablack side?I haven’t read back in the thread but I would have been a bit grumpy if it ended up a clos saders win. That disallowed try should have been a penalty try and YC to Ennor. He was never onside then came in to knock the ball out of the hands.
Why can’t TMOs ever see this stuff? They seem to get tunnel vision when looking at groundings. Also dropping the ball (or having it knocked out of your grasp) doesn’t mean lost forward if it goes straight down or backwards. -
One point I forgot to mention is the real importance of players with a big kicking game..the length of both Debreczini and Stephenson were able to get forced the Saders to either run back from deep or put high kicks up to which both Alaimalo and Wainui handled brilliantly..
Something for the Blues to think about when looking at their roster for 2020..given how poorly they deal with red zone exits. -

This could get very ugly for the Chiefs.
