All these teams look far more dangerous than NZ .... Until they don't. Yesterday being a good example.
Yup, NZ has some vastly underrated players. Take Matt Henry, for example.
Should have been dropped for Southee by now..

He showed up the umpire after being given out caught behind after he had not hit it.

Was given out (incorrectly) but stood his ground (England's review had already been lost), had a bit of a stare down and was picked up on the stump mic saying 'that's fucking embarrassin'. Eventually walked.
Was given two demerit points and fined 30% ofhhis match fee, but to me disrespecting the umpire like that is one of the worst things a batsman can do.

Different strokes and all that. I bet a Bangle would have copped more just to teach the new boys a lesson

Absolutely smacked. Aus batsmen obviously made the pitch look harder than it was.
Of note for us is the English new ball bowlers were excellent, but everyone else relieved the pressure a fair bit and it was more very poor Aussie batting that lead to further wickets. So digging in for the first 10 and then accelerating as the innings wears on may be a good ploy again.

Didn't expect such a thrashing but the loss want unexpected.
England had their first choice lineup back, and despite his faults, Khawaja was playing at first drop in a steadying role and was missed.
Throw in the form of both Finch and Warner tapering a bit, and you've got issues.
Now please win, Kiwis, as you'll be marginally less insufferable than if England win. 😉
