Rumour has it that the court case against the tabs by Rachel (her real name) and Harry isn't going very well.
Their statement is a pompous, self-indulgent piece of wank that I wished I hadn't spent two minutes reading
The timing of it is unreal. Andrew Neil summed it up perfectly.
This is what happens when you pick the wrong woman to marry

@MajorRage do these papers really care if they get a quote or not? I highly doubt it'll make a difference.
Exactly, most tabloid articles are heavily sprinkled with the phrase "Palace insiders say..."

Judgement on the first bit of the Megexit court case is brutal for the ex-Royal. Three bits of her lawyer's case have been thrown out. It will limit the witnesses she can call and allow the other side to question her character and judgement in court. First blood to Associated Press.
They will still have a difficult job arguing that breeching Rachel's privacy by publishing a private letter to her Dad was in the public interest.

@MajorRage Personally I vastly prefer a free, but lightly regulated, press to the alternatives. UK tabloids were out of control in early 2000s hacking phones and emails and printing straight-forward lies. On the other hand, a free press is essential to holding power to account.
My problem with Rachel's moans about UK press are times have changes post-Levenson, Harry and her got amazingly positive tabloid coverage for a long time, she has escaped to LA that has a totally unregulated paparazzi and she still plants stories and photos for UK papers.
That said, interesting case ahead. Looks like Associated Press are going to argue that Rachel (to use her real name) intended for the letter to be leaked. Tough to prove. IMHO.

What's Harry's IQ, 90? Lower?
Seems like a nice fellow but not the sharpest tool in the shed
And that’s in a shed full of blunt spoons.
