The Undeclared War
Six-parter about a cyber-war between the UK & Russia.
Bit of a curates egg. Premise and tension was good and the plot believable, though it did go a bit OTT in places. Characters were generally strong & well-written and the main protagonist - a Muslim junior GCHQ employee - was really believable and played brilliantly by Hannah Khalique-Brown. Simon Pegg played the other main role.
Good watch and better than most of this genre - 4/5
I enjoyed this but like Tokyo Vice it had a non ending ending. So if it doesn't get picked up for a second season it will be annoying.
I liked the switch of focus in episode three (I think) and it was ballsy of them to do a whole episode that way.
I also found her to be fairly rounded as a character for a short TV series, at times she was straight up annoying and at others she was very sympathetic.
I agree with @Nepia about the non -ending, actually annoyed the shit out of me as I wanted to know what happened lol!
Plot is good though, I agree I liked how it was playing out, just dragged out a bit long for me though, could have been more fast paced.
##spoiler
Also if you're going to have a lesbian relationship on screen with zero tit watch then its not good enough!

The Terminal List
Enjoyable series, action and tension pretty much from the get go, almost like an episode of 24.
From what I gathered there was a decent amount of consulting with Military for the series, and it did seem to have some realism in some of the action sequences, how they moved, carried weapons etc, but were still a couple of things that were a bit over the top
##spoiler
The rock slide, the fact both of them survived that...really?The final battle at the lakehouse, the fact they didnt have lights on the water, I mean a SEAL, coming to a lake house, he will come by water FFS, and then the dumb arse Sec-Def, sending the guards out of the safe room, where they were safe to protect her...

Who Killed Sara (¿Quién Mató a Sara?)
On Netflix.
Hell-bent on exacting revenge and proving he was framed for his sister's murder, Álex sets out to unearth much more than the crime's real culprit.
Some good "plot" in this and I'm three episodes in. None better than Carolina Miranda.

The Old Man is now on Disney+ here in NZ.
Watched Ep1 last night. Quality.
It is bloody well done.
Absurdly unrealistic in certain ways (won't spoil) -

##endspoilerAuthor of the source material (switch-brain-off airport "novels") - was an actual Navy SEAL... I'm assuming he would have been made Producer, and had a LOT of input into the filming.
I've just finished reading Book 3... and if they continue to make the TV show... expect it to just get more and more ridiculous.
(Your mention of a rock-slide.... I don't remember anything like that in first book, but there is a ridiculous scene in Book 3 - so... I'm wondering what they've done) -
Resident Evil
Fucken LOVED the games on the Playstation, the Movies were a mixed bag of rapidly declining quality……..( actually so were the games )……so anyone seen this on Netflix and is it worth a hoon ?
( I’m sure I’ll watch it anyway but I’ve found the fern to be pretty good at reviewing shows on the whole )

Stay Close
Ok, if pretty predictable drama about a woman whose past is dredged up right before she is due to be married. I like that bloke James Nesbit in most stuff he does and the story is alright if a bit implausible ##spoiler
I’m sure the main characters woulda run into each other at some stage in a town that small ) also what the fuck was up with the Ken and Barbie assassins ? They belonged in another show, not this one
##endspoilerIt’s a good enough compromise if you’re looking for something to watch with the Mrs, definitely worse out there.

https://marriedwithchildren.fandom.com/wiki/Hilfe,_meine_Familie_spinnt!
Hilfe, meine Familie spinnt! (Help, my family is crazy!) was a German adaptation of the American sitcom Married... with Children and ran for 26 episodes on the German TV channel RTL in 1993. The series was a literal translation of the original series, only with German actors. All dialogues and gags were taken from the original translated scripts, except for the names which were changed to German ones.[1] Al Bundy became Jupp Strunk, Peggy was named Roswitha, the children's names were Tim and Biggi instead of Bud and Kelly, and the dog, originally Buck, was named Cobold.[2]

How fucken good is this show, I hate waiting for new episodes, I think the next one drops tomorrow the 20th.
The penny dropped well before the ‘surprise’ in ep3 but they underplayed it well enough that it worked.
Similar in ways to the first series of Homeland but better. Hope they leave at at one series. -
first ep of S3 The Boys....good to see they maintain thier WTF standards, the termite, urethra...

Finished The Lazarus Project and really liked it. Well worth a watch I reckon and found the way they wound it up pretty neat. But worrying to see they haven't even announced if they're going to renew it though.
Really? It's worth it? I enjoyed S1E1, then it faded very, very fast for me. Didn't make it past S1E3. Should I persist?

I kinda feel like I already answered that...
I did watch it after seeing people saying they gave up on it. So maybe I'm just contrarian.
