He gets in the way of the dead girl’s sister, who is trying pretty gamely to shoot Goldfinger, so saving the British taxpayer a great deal of money.

I don't think the reviewer gets the point of Bond films, it is NOT about saving taxpayer dollars.
And if one reads the original books, Bond is far more interestingly flawed than in the movies.

    @catogrande Indeed!

The one where he plays twins is awesomely bad.
I think Timecop is suitably cheesy but kickboxer is ok if you want to see someone pirouette incredibly slowly then tickle the overacting villains with his little feet.

Maybe. I can't be arsed going back to the original post so shoot me, Mr Bond.

I went forward as have not read 36 threads...
But sorry to take you back in time I was only micro-ranting to that guy, not your overall post...oh and to Bond films in general, I guess I'm an ex-fan now (not to say the problem was Craig)..

    Wrath of man

Never buy into a reviewer saying something is great or top 4. Not Ritchies best work in my mind and Statham even borrowed his wardrobe from some of his older works. Ban the man cardy. Still enjoyable enough shoot em up heist movie, but could have been much better if it explored more of the characters and didn’t try to jump around in the timeline so much.

3 brutal executions out of 5 heists.

New restoration of The Hot Spot. 🙂

    The Hot Spot Blu-ray

    The Hot Spot Blu-ray

    The Hot Spot Blu-ray Review

Mates and I rented this about 91-92 and even then the bit where Jennifer Connelly got the cans out was completely fucked and scratchy from other perverts blokes who’d hired it before us

    Serial Mom (1994)

Kathleen Turner in a comedy darker than a dark room on a black spaceship in a black hole. Really great fun to watch every few years or so.

4 Hanibal Lectors out of 5 Jack the Rippers.

White Tiger. Very dark alternative slum dog millionaire. Tried to lay India bare for the viewer. 4.5 smiling servants out of 5 beheaded chickens

Nowadays the only thing sizzling is the copious amounts of food she puts on the grill. Fucken enormous.....Urzila Carlson could be her stunt double.

    Ok Brad Pitt.

She’s 64 years old and has suffered from Arthritis for 25 years. The steroids she took caused her weight to balloon.

@kirwan what a knight in shining armour! Didn't she play Chandler's Dad in Friends, always thought that was a bit sad.

She looked decent in a movie starring Eric Roberts on Netflix I must say.

But yeah they all need to get in touch with Liz and Salma for tips on how to remain hot cos whatever they’re doing ain’t working.
