Aussie Golfer Wayne Riley
Riley is in Orlando this week working his usual job as an on-course commentator for Sky Sports in the UK, although the bulk of his work is on the European Tour. Warne was an avid watcher of European Tour golf and would regularly text Riley while he was on air and sledge him about things heād just said.
āHe had a way of making every Australian feel like they knew him. He was all of us, but he happened to be one of the greatest cricketers ever. Iām gutted.ā

Of course they will, it's terribly sad, but I reckon Heals knows them better than randoms on the internet. They'd also have an idea of the damage he had inflicted on himself over the years - this insight wouldn't have come out of the blue.
And TBH I've never understood this "too soon" argument. Who determines that?
Well the article that @Donsteppa shared claimed he didnāt drink much and never took drugs.
Iām calling absolute bullshit on that, not judging Warnie but to make out he was someone who abstained is just nonsense.

My first response was about heart disease being a massive killer for middle aged men, but deleted as it was too soon.
Healy probably knew him well, but it's landed with a clang. That said, male Ferners look after yourselves, eat clean, drink in moderation and keep exercising. Do as I say not as I do basically

Yeah most experts rate Warnie as being better than Murali. He is still a legend provided we accept his action is legit though.
I suppose competing for wickets with Chaminda Vaas was easier than Glenn McGrath so his numbers look even more exceptional.
Warne also took 195 more Ashes wickets than Murali. That speaks volumes.

but i think this paragraph is as good as any for the majority of punters
