Christchurch Gunman in Mosque

  • I hated seeing the silver fern in the video as that monster got his weapons from the boot.

  • I get that people want to show their solidarity with our countrys grief through things like putting our flag on landmarks. Its very nice and I'm sure its done with good intentions .

However these sorts of tragedies also bring out some appalling narcissists who use them to seek attention and social brownie points . I've never been a fan of Lucy Lawless because of her previous attention whoring and virtue signalling and on cue she tries to make 15/3 all about her.

Well we know posts like this are gonna happen and naturally some of them are gonna be extremely sanctimonious. I'm sure Lorde is writing a fucken song as we speak.

Flipside of that is seeing our flag flying overseas, even a cynical cunt like me appreciates that gesture from the rest of the world.

  • One guys view of the Gun club he was a member of.

I guess thankfully most people who rant and rave about shit are harmless keyboard warriors. This guy is taking to social media to vent, completely understandably, but it's pretty damn hard if not downright impossible for Police to spare resources to ascertain which threats are real or not.

It's like Police saying each year they want 0 deaths on our roads. Noble sentiment but it will never ever happen.

I reckon he's right because he says fuck every third word.

Apparently the guy who charged the gunman is named Naeem Rashid. He is still alive but in a bad way. His son did not make it. So he's a hero but it won't mean shit to him now. Life's not like the movies no matter how much you want it to be.

Fuck it, he died of his injuries.

  • This Terrorist Will likely be in isolation in prison. I have seen a video shared on facebook from a bikie gang member putting a call out out to his associates for the terrorists to be "got at". An easily swayed prison guard could get financial compensation.

He will have a huge target on his head for sure

  • Gunning down unarmed men, women and children, this guy is a fucking coward

  • Trying to keep this thread on topic

If you want to talk about the non entity from another country that got egged, look over here:

  • "One of the officers phoned me straight after to advise me that they'd damaged a car."
Stills said it was the second car from his patch damaged in a week and he'd previously told staff not to wreck any others as they were already short.
    ...
"You could police for 100 years and not get an apprehension anywhere near that good.

  • Curious as to what punishment the guy will get... what’s the worst punishment nz can give him?

He will die in jail , there's provision for life meaning life

He'll get preventive detention, with a non-parole period higher than we've ever seen. If it is less than 75 years I would be surprised. Even if the non-parole period is shorter than his remaining life, it seems very unlikely he would ever be released.

A citizen from another country performed the most evil act in NZs history. He’s also spent a lot of time flying back and forward to suspect counties like Turkey and Pakistan.

Once the shock has died down I’d be hoping our govt makes a few hard please explain requests to several foreign agencies.

Imagine the shit storm if this was a kiwi who did this in Australia or the States.

Turkey and Pakistan seen like odd places to travel for a white supremacist that hates Muslims. Has there been any explanation for why he was there?

  • I really, really REALLY wish Americans would stop tweeting that this was our first mass shooting, and that we changed the law and banned semi automatic weapons already.

I know a lot of people there are extremely frustrated about their own gun control situation, but using this horrific event for their own ends and making up shit is pissing me off no end.
