@Bones Jacomb is massively overrated. Has done very little this year.
The hype he gets should go to Reihana
A 10 who does the basics effectively is worth keeping an eye on.
Think there would be a massive circle jerk over Reihana if he played for any other franchise.
Hard for any Crusader 10 to be given a fair shake coming after Dan Carter and then Mo'unga.
But he is a champion himself now. Good on him.
Really? All I've seen on the thread is admiration for Reihana
Over the season.......Jacomb was the "talking horse".

Small margins and that's more than enough in finals footy.
For me I felt the Saders pack edged the Chiefs and dominated the scrums and Dmac having a stinker compounded things.Quin T was certainly the Chiefs stand out though.

Mate, Crusaders just monstered the Chiefs. Chiefs CHOKED again.
If they monstered .them, not sure.the chiefs choked...
Chiefs lost the home final by losing to the Blues in qtr, and then they struggled to convert their early season dominance (they smashed us twice). Tell me how that’s not a choke?

Hard to argue with that. They needed to beat the Blues and they fluffed their lines
Blues game was the stuff up. From there it went about as well as it was ever going to.

@Darth-Sader more you saying the saders monstered them, IMO if you monster them, that's why you win, not because.they choked.

For the Crusaders Jordan and Reece ensured the territory contest was won. Reihana looks like he has the skills and mindset to play at a higher level. Shalfoon has had a very good finals campaign - niggly, hard in the tight and effective. Newell with a massive shift again. Taylor is superb when in form.
Chiefs? Well Stevenson looked less interested than normal, which is a feat. Tupaea was immense. McKenzie was exceptionally average - when he wasn't being invisible. Backline ruined the hard work of the Chiefs forward pack who gave them enough opportunities.

I think we've seen the end of calls for Stevenson to be an All Black based on that performance.
And Beaudy is now clear first choice 10.
I would still have DMac as first five. No his fault their front row wasn’t up to it.

Without Reihana, crusaders probably out in the semis. What a find.
Jordan definitely the Crusaders difference maker in these big games. Reihana has been superb, seems like a steady hand, unlike DMac.
