@MN5 I see your Max Key and raise you this, a face that could launch a thousand punches.

Not even close. Pretty sure I found him funny on occasion in the 90s

    Sorry. Who he?

@canefan Thank you. Whilst I am now undoubtedly better informed, I am also none the wiser. Local 'talent' I assume?

I'm not sure how this places him even remotely in Max Key territory....

@Baron-Silas-Greenback as a noted funny guy on this forum I'm sure you're even funnier than in the 90s. Have they asked you to appear on Seven days yet?

In more breaking news sounds like Hilary isn't too happy with Paul who has become worse than Trump overnight by the looks of things.....

Pretty pathetic how one new organisation has started a crusade against another news organisations ratings winner.

    @Baron-Silas-Greenback

Are they owned by the same parent company now? For some reason, I thought they were.

I can happily say that I don't get to see any of these types of shows as I am eather at work or on the farm after work. Earliest I would get in is around 8 when all these types of shows have wound up for the night. Thank goodness

Different parent companies, Herald started the crusade as they hate Mediaworks.. as they compete for that slot on the radio. Barry... well she is just a self important tool.

Just got a call from some poor bastard trying to drum up subscriptions for the Dompost, didn't actually sound too surprised when I said no one in my house would be prepared to pay for it.
I'll give the dompost management one thing, if they are mounting campaign to drive down their readership they are doing a bloody good job of it. 85% of their editorials are negatively whining about national, they also fap about the green party to a degree that would make John Campbell proud every chance they get .

@Tim Social media seems to have replaced NZPA as Granny Heralds main "news" source.

Not someone posting a picture of an unfolding "real" news story but the "what air hostesses think about...." stories which seem to run in one form or another every week.

I'm waiting for their news lead "Google Maps has updated Street view for Sunnynook"....

Not sure if Stuff even remembers what hard news is anymore. It's all opinion columns from people with more ego than sense.

This sort of stuff shows that we have more information than ever today, but less of it is useful than ever before

Decent article from the spinoff I thought ...

Congratulations, New Zealand. The court of public opinion has outdone any mere judge, delivering a punishment that reeks of knee-jerk outrage and lazy prejudice, writes Madeleine Chapman.
