    So .. apparently they're playing cricket ...

    RSA 312-6.

    Lead of 368.

Philander looking to push it along apparently. Three consecutive boundaries off Starc.

Maybe this will calm the series down? The wind might be knocked out of the Aussies

    Actual conversation:

Joe Root: "We got bowled out for 58, the media's gonna be all over us this week."

    Steve Smith: "Hold my beer"

Steve Smith has hired his cousin Aaron Smith to give him and Warner some advice. Aaron recommended they both sign sawn testimony. Warner went first Smith went 'afterdavid'.

Marshall had the inswinging yorker at express pace. Not as quick as Thomo but with the swing made him dangerous.

Will be more interesting to see how the Proteas behave - when Rabada got off it was a bit of a plus for them, and with their opponent on the ropes both in the game and off the field, they might go full Monty.

@mn5 Hansie Cronje was also regarded as one of the best ever...

    That went well.

Ouch indeed! Did had a laugh about Warner running Bancroft out. Heard a few murmurs that it was Smith and Warner hatching this strategy rather than the full leadership group. If that is the case I'd imagine the rest of that group would be pretty pissed about how Smith framed things.

Now the ICC have given the one match ban for Smith it'll be interesting to see what CA think is needed on top of that.

Itโ€™s not like the players and CA are chummy at the moment. Bet they havenโ€™t forgotten the drawn out contract negotiations earlier. Where they basically held the CA to ransom.

Nice quote from David Warner following Faf Du Plessis ball tampering of a couple of years back.

"We hold our heads high and I'd be very disappointed if one of our team members did that.

"The rules are in place for a reason. If you're not going to use them why bother having them?

"If you're going to overstep the mark, be prepared to get fined and miss Test matches."
