Saying "He'll go well back at 6" is writing him off

    What a retard

Fuck off. You said: I think he disappointed at 8 because he lacks the skillset.

Yeah, looked very lacking in skillset last week, for sure.

Apologies for the language, seems a bit OTT upon reflection 😉

At least you didn't slap anyone 🙂

Are these players ever going to learn? Seriously?

He seemed bemused too, like he couldn't believe his actions there would be deemed a problem.

Yeah, standing there shaking his head - but this is the reaction we're going to get when half the time fans jump all over WR/Refs and say they've ruined the game. How often have we seen that recently and it goes on for days/weeks, without mention of the player? Laulala will probably get a ban, but other than reporting on that, there'll be next to nothing written about him being a grub.

Even as one of the more vocal about the red card situation

that's a fucking red every day. That's a dumb, and yes, grubby act that got what it deserved. Laulala is shit and not overly bright on the field and the ABs should get rid.

There is a mile of difference between this card and say, the one in the England v Ireland game

Yep you're right, the poor player that Ewels hit couldn't play on because he was knocked the fuck out, Laulala only gave someone a light touch up, why should he care?

Nice way to illustrate my point though!

Way to be a huge dick just for something new and different

    Rugby sux lol

Paea could've been carded twice in the first half (high tackle on Sotutu, lifting Goodhue's legs and dropping him at a maul). Poor reffing.

He was consistent at letting things go (see: Liam Coltman at the maul). It's just so random from week to week

@crucial it was a very odd one, it didnt look like he was trying to do anything, almost like he froze with indecision about what he was going to do at all, in the end he simply stood in the way and 2 heads clashed.

I have no doubt it was simply a complete mis-read of the situation, zero intent for anything at all, but 2 heads clashed, hard. So red card was always the answer, but this is where the 20-min red works.

The Rebels attack actually looked competent there

They did and the Drua look to on a down night in their up and down journey

6 handling errors in the first 15 minutes.

Odd one this. The decision is absolutely correct as far as the head contact protocols go but there is no messaging happening here to dissuade players charging into rucks and prone players with the shoulder. His arm was tucked at the side

It's not a great time for Welsh rugby. They've an aging team, their u20s only beat a rabble of a Scottish side and all their regions look like missing out on the top 8 of the URC. Meanwhile the WRU have just built a hotel. Priorities!

If five of our best performers this 6N had been selected to start - Francis, Rowlands, Basham, Cuthbert, Liam Williams - the result would have been very different

And Scott Williams should have been brought in at 12 from the start

Colin Charvis speaking on BBC Wales Scrum V was correct

You don’t become a shit team overnight

A better game plan with the players we have and we get different results

For that reason, the first to go is Pivac

    NOW

    Shit selections
    No real, modern game plan

    Then Jones
Unless he’s toeing the Pivac line

And the new hotel is magnificent and a far better return on investment than Pivac

Chiefs Manawa also took rookies from other areas into their squad so that other franchises didn't have to be weaker in accommodating them. eg Maia Joseph

Give things a chance. It will always take a handful of seasons for teams to settle as players look for better opportunities rather than being in stacked squads. There will still be an element of it but not perhaps as much.

Re: the BF7s thing, they themselves are rebuilding and most of the Sevens players will be concentrating on that format. Bit of a perfect storm this year with 'senior' players wanting a big flourish with CG and RWC representation before retiring.

The teams themselves know that they could only play the cards dealt so I doubt there will be much bragging about the win. They would all prefer a full home and away comp.

Ireland aren't all that from my viewing of their last few games. Scots were about as headless as you get overnight. They struggled to put away a 14-man England, and were rubbish against Italy despite the overwhelming advantage they had in numbers.

France took them apart, and Wales were poo in that game.

    They’re good against Australia though

The damning thing for Eddie is I think England are playing less than the sum of their parts. That's on him.

Has he ever kept a job this long?

Yet Ian Foster is still in his job.

The Hurricanes Poua showed that good defence wins games. I thought Matatū was unlucky with some referee's calls - I don't think the first(?) disallowed try was a knock-on and that "neck-roll" deserved a card - but the Poua took the scoring opportunities they got; Matatū didn't.

Entertaining game (more than the first half of the other game).

@shark I think I first started when he confused So'oialo with Conrad Smith

Maybe there needs to be a concussion protocol for commentators - get too many names wrong and they sub in Sumo for 10 minutes while Nisbo is off trying to remember what colour undies he has on

That will work, 10 minutes of Sumo nicknames only, then bring on TJ to get overexcited about anyone tangentiality related to Ta$man/Crusaders and underexcited about anyone tangentially related to the Blues, then bring on Laban to tell us what school everyone went to and piss off anyone not already pissed off.

During the last ten minutes, the Crusaders front five was : Bower - Klein - Pole - Gardiner - Whitelock, barely NPC level. Easy task for the Chiefs to outmuscle them.

The Crusaders and Blues are likely to scrap their Easter break and play their postponed match in Christchurch next month.

While the rescheduled fixture hasn't yet been confirmed, it’s understood organisers are lining up the weekend of April 16-17, when both sides were scheduled to take their bye week.

    Good solution

    Too emotional ?
